I just came back from my Dom. Republic trip, I lost my gold necklace...I was trying to figure out how I can cope with not having it..your video helped me..I just accepted it, and I will make what I learned from losing something better out of having it... thank you

I love the idea of helping someone transition from hyper-fixating on not having confidence to focusing on hobbies and building sense of self.

Well said! Identity is so complex but if we focus on our passions and what we like to create, confidence will totally follow

since you're coming from an authoritarian home I can understand why the idea of "parenting" and a compassionate adult figure don't really mesh well in your mind but I think you're getting into the semantics of it a little too much. you're describing a big sister or a cool aunt but, honestly, from what you described, a lot of good, healthy parents are exactly like that. if you associate parenting with too much pain, I don't think you're wrong in reframing it to suit your needs. but I do think one eventual goal should be to come to terms with how a kind, compassionate adult parent figure should feel like.

It sounds more like your parents were authori*tarian* and you're describing a desire for an authori*tative* influence which is generally considered the ideal parenting technique.

I think the fact that you grew up with authoritative parents who's ethos doesn't align with yours- to the point that associating yourself with them gives you the ick ... You're kind of proving the reparent point

I get down to earth vibes when I hear you talking and explaining. And I like that you advocate for acknowledging the truth of how we feel instead of ignoring the gap and trying to force yourself to conform to what you can clearly see is not realistic (always being on/happy etc). That said however, I don't quite agree with the philosophy in general, because I did try looking at the world in terms of energy, frequency and vibration, and I experienced a lot of things, spiritual stuff. I've walked the walk and basically have found that Christianity is the most spiritually accurate and practically verifiable thing I've ever come across. I would though, really love your take where you go into both from a practical standpoint, particularly because of your balanced approach to things. For example, how do you know what's best for yourself since you can manifest things? From the Christian perspective I personally ask Jesus for things and He responds with Not yet, No, A yes of more than 2 times what I asked for, something even better that's WAAAYYY tooo good for what I deserve, and in a lot of cases, character development, to be able to handle what I am asking for. Also, He is the one who sits down with me during the gap, or sends someone to do something kind out of the blue so I'm taken care of as with a parent/friend/mentor etc. basically what does your worldview offer in comparison?

I'm 62, so can say from experience that death solves all issues. Look, in 100 years all of us will be dead. And most likely, not even our direct descendants will know who we are.

Congratulations you little beach bunny!! I’m so happy for you. I did the same thing 2 yrs ago. I sold my home after 25 yrs and left Denver. I always wanted to live in the forest. I now own 3 acres in Washington St. At the base of Mt St Helens. Please post updates! Anytime you need to get away, you come up to visit! BTW I bounce now between Denver and there. I’m in Denver now with the same travel plans as you. Hopefully we have lower gas prices then. Good luck! I love your posts ❤️
