its great, so far my pic as the better choice if you only had 1 wheel, it does everything good but nothing exceptionally well, but that's probably enough to place it as the best 16" wheel currently available

I have, I don’t like it It’s not my thing, short stiff suspension hard edges and average firmware also easy to over torque, Patton is a clear winner

@@mexicanbatman666 thanks for the info, i was about to pull the trigger on a patton or a lynx but saw in a review that the threads are weak and strip easily when you unscrew the euc for maintenance or repairs, is that true?

@@manolocox1yes you need to be careful It’s not as bad as some make it out to be, but when you dismantle it keep track of all screws as they are various lengths, Patton is still one of my favourite wheels

@@mexicanbatman666 even for a street/commute and not so often off road?, and with as little maintenance as possible with ease of access to internals / tire, is it also easy to over torque in that environment?

I’ve since realised you can double tap the power button while it’s on the stand, then stand it up and it balances and off you go

i have confirmed a S18 shock is a direct bolt in, and you can see the Chinese beta testers using it on their pre production wheels, the S16 is way too stiff for a small child or light weight person, im 90kg and its more than stiff enough for me

I sold my Lynx, the Lynx is better by far, but the S16 is more fun, but don’t be fooled it’s still an entry level wheel so it hasn’t got endless power

At this stage in the iOS app the section for light customisation is blank, same for sounds I don’t have an android phone to test So other than changing the way the rainbow pulses to the music all I can do is turn it off

Maybe update your firmware, I can turn off my lights now.

PS: there are 3 firmwares, one for wheel, one for BMS and one for lighting controller

@@mexicanbatman666after a month of owning it. How do you like it. I have only had my INMOTION v8s for 3 days and I already want a bigger faster wheel. But not the fastest. And this is the wheel I’ve been recommended by many.

neither is better, depends on your use, if you have a patton, no need to upgrade to lynx unless you need more speed

max speed many times, i hate the honeycomb pedals though, change the studs to get grip!

I’ve been riding a long time, but not a long distance

Street bashing seems tough, rim durability I’m not convinced of, speed? You’ll have to look to the US reviewers, I got the Lynx for maximum headroom not for pushing high speeds for long times

You can cruise at 50mph no problem, it depends on how far you’re trying to go. No one has done a range test at speeds that high. I’m 210lbs and ride fast but my riding style isn’t wide open roads and a consistent speed.

Thanks. I come from200+hp motorcycles. The “cruising speed” is BS on these things. Resellers should change It to say “estimated top speed” Kids go down mountain hills on skateboards faster, smh. I can’t effortlessly get to 50Mph and cruise… I feel a performance wheel should have more speed and power than we may ever need so we can grow as individual riders, not continuously hit our head on ceiling of performance with wheel. 4G’s is not like buying a box of popcorn. Not convinced with any of these performance wheels at this point.

@@3s6src32 for me EUC is all about proximity to objects. 50mph isn’t fast on an open road, but it’s absolutely flying in the city traffic. Riding single track 25/30mph is wild as the trees zip by.
