Is it pro?
Ridden in intermediate mode and often beginner mode no not really
Out of the box it’s still not the best
It needs adjustment and still requires further improvement
For this test I was unable to go to the regular spots as it was busy, the pads I had set up really loose and the suspension needs further fine tuning and I believe the “Pro” rollers need a bit of a re design
Pedals in the lower setting
Suspension geometry in 1 bolt higher setting with 3 exposed holes
32psi in the tyre
And about half way on both compression and rebound
I prefer the boost of the Sherman S for bonking things like kerbs and boosting over them a fair distance
But the S22 is the undisputed king of the big hit large drop and stairs
Also the lack of bobbing is welcome when carving

I assume you are still messing with the settings. I have the standard S22 with CNC slider mod. You need to add more pre-load to the spring with these types of sliders (you can do it easily by just twisting the spring with your hands). Ideally a beefier spring will be needed overall. You also need to adjust your rebound to be slower to stop the pogo-ing you get. You can also change the dampening rate to slow down the general bounciness. Mine is pretty well dialed now and it's perfectly fine for standard trails, stairs and normal riding (I just change the dampening rate a few clicks when going off-road). But it's still too soft for jumps which I like to do so am looking at finding a new spring.

the purpose of my tests is to look at how the wheel behaves and make adjustments from there, this is just random phone videos throughout a ride stitched together, I'm still dialling it in, but Kingsong did a terrible job designing the PRO sliders, it works but its pretty poorly thought out so its getting disassembled and looked at but at this stage for advanced users it is a great wheel but it not bloody good enough, theres many faults

@@mexicanbatman666 as someone who got the standard S22and had to replace the sliders entirely to get the suspension to work as designed I agree. I'm not shilling for Kingsong. I was giving feedback to what I presumed was a new comer to the wheel. I saw your video and how the suspension reacted and was just advising on how to fix the issues I saw (mainly the pogo'ing you see in your video when you go down the stairs).

@@asherbroadbent9959 they aren’t stairs, the look it, but it’s first and concrete and each drop there’s a lip before the step bouncing you upwards I had the original S22 it featured very briefly in an old video somewhere, I actually don’t film often or most of the stuff I do, in this case it was just spots I could get to to compare with a few other wheels that I’ve ridden at the same locations

I have the latest Hou Ningning 8 wheel sliders (black) with ceramic based rollers. The s22 is changed to entirely new wheel. It is buttery smooth. I am going to have to agree a stronger spring may be needed, especially if your 200 pounds plus. I do have some strange chatter when slowing down or pushing wheel around in reverse. I think the factory crappy sliders wore the channels a little and there isn't slight amount of play. I will try the preload trick and ywist it tighter see if that helps.

does DIY sliders for S22 fit for S22 Pro version as its stock sliders replacement? 4,6,8 rollers?

S22, T4 is massively over rated by influencers It’s a good wheel but 16” Vs 18” class the larger diameter of the S22 alone helps it roll over obstacles better Then the suspension is so much better on S22, I liked the T4 V1 but the S22 is better Both need work however and aren’t perfect out of the box

Patric the s22 is the best gyrowheel option if you do trails, jumps, stairs and having fun. The t4 its ok, but what 6ou won't get a smart bms, lower range, and begode BS

@@dirt.surfer I believe the new ones also have individual cell monitoring through the app which is pretty important for safety.
