How long does the charge last
@ConstructionVideos24 күн бұрын
It uses (2) 12AH Flexvolt batteries. We typically mow for about 45-minutes and the batteries still have 2 bars on the indicator when we're finished. It would probably go for about an hour and a half.

@@ConstructionVideos thank you very much. I have a yard but most of it is gravel and some has grass. So I was wondering if this would be a good thing to get.

What width and height footings are you building? How are you finding the quality of the footer boards you are using. Are you going to build ICF walls? Nice looking job so far.
@ConstructionVideosАй бұрын
Thank you! These were 20" wide x 8" deep, and it is for an ICF (Foxblock) foundation.
@wrfarms9741Ай бұрын
@@ConstructionVideos We're using Foxblock 8" cores as well. Currently working on forming up our footers 36"x12". Adding Xypex to the footer and basement concrete for water proofing in addition to other measures.
@ConstructionVideosАй бұрын
@@wrfarms9741 good deal. We coat the ICF with Henry’s damproofing (foam-safe) and a Foundation drain is normally required, as well. We typically use the EZ Flow drain pipe that already comes in the sock with the peanuts. Easier to install than pipe and gravel up where we are.

lol it did transfer the weight to the hips, like a hiking pack. I, Casey, the girl in the video, have hardly any upper body strength, so to be able to manage a heavy tool like that was pretty cool actually! Is it super practical, maybe so, maybe not. Is the calibrating technology cool? You bet!

The infiltrator chambers are installed uphill to the septic tank though. You would need to have a pump which is waste, why not just do a gravity fed system?
@ConstructionVideos5 ай бұрын
There was not room on the property to have a leach field down hill from the tank, so this engineered system does have a pump to push the effluent to the leach field and disperse evenly throughout.

What will be done to ensure those banks don’t erode and fall in?
@ConstructionVideos6 ай бұрын
The walls were cleaned up a bit for the finished driveway. They are still pretty clean cut, but the soils out here are very hard decomposed granite, so they’re pretty solid to begin with. This was done two years ago. Coincidentally, we are actually out on that property as we speak working on the foundation for the new home build, and everything looks great! Overtime some stuff may slough off, but that’s why we made it extra wide to allow for that to happen naturally.
