That's a good plan man. definitely rest up a couple days and yes have the doc check it out. PS grab a tube of Aspercreme when Poy and I hiked the Grand Canyon my calf cramped something fierce and I could barely walk. I used that on my calves that night and the next morning I felt 90% better. I know it's not the same as what you got going on but it may help

Yeah, buddy, we're here for you🙂 Definitely ice and soak your Shin an foot. it did look a little swollen and dirty. Hopefully, you refilled your water before you soak it. LOL😁 I hope to hike the PCT way before I'm 70 or 80 Wish I could be doing it with you right now, buddy.

Derek, taking days off is showing smart maturity! Going on is just going to make it worse, I know it’s tearing you up mentally but DON’T let it. You can finish this in your own time, when it’s not tearing your keg up.

We’ll talk about it later, love you honey & so Proud of what you’ve done with all you’ve had to deal with this leg!

Rest up! Take care of that Leg..Your humility in sharing here ,about the need to take a break, and self care, gives hope to others that one doesn't have to have it 'all together ' all the time , to make this hike/ journey....that 'stuff happens' , and to remain Present with whatever is happening within the present moment. listening to the body, and taking a time out when needed...Good on ya for your honest sharing, which gives others the permission to not feel the need to push it when they are hurting too.. Rest up! And enjoy the self care..it will be good to see you when you are back on trail...one moment at a time...that's True living.. and a huge part of this journey. ❤

Hi #1 Sandman, I could see you were hurting, I’m so proud of you & your attitude. You will be smart to give that pulled muscle a day at least to recover, elevate it & if you have Aleve take one. Don’t try to push it, it’ll be a mistake. Be kind to # 1. Congrats on 600 so proud of you.Loves #1 gram
