Day 16 and 17 of my PCT thru hike. Mount San Jacinto.

16 күн бұрынDay 16 proved to be one of the more challenging days on trail. We had a navigate bushwhacking, tree blowdowns, snow, wind, heat, and long water carries. This was definitely one of more technical parts of the trail, But I felt alive after completing it!
Day 17 We headed back down to Idyllwild to resupply before hitting the trailer again.

All the videos I've seen have had the same issues you guys did going thru Jacinto. Great job! Wish I was on the trail with ya.

Hope you are keeping your bear spray handy. Should work on anything that is big enough to not be afraid of you.

I hadn't showered in a week. I probably stunk so bad i scared it off. 😁

Lion or bear .. "huffing" noise would be bear. Lions are usually very stealthy. Only time you would hear a lion is when it's extremely close to your tent or if it were to be calling at a distance.
