I asked the same question re the height of hitching up - marginal impact based on scale height, same minor change would occur if I increased or decreased the air in the car airbags. We own this one and we hired it on Camplify. Ours is for hire (this one) at On point Caravan Hire in Sydney for a limited time only. You won’t find any for rent easily at all. I guess we lucked out, hired it a couple of times then were in the right place at the right time.

Our experience looking over the van was it was impressive, imported or not really. The standard of 95% of vans today are exponentially better than 12-24 months ago, good for the customer. It was a little pricey I agree.

I love everything about the outside and nothing much about the inside! If you need working space inside it’s limited, if you just want to sleep and live mostly outside it would be fine. I’m looking forward to when/if they remodel the inside. @PatrickDerksen-1m1wi

@@caravansbythecampfire I’m looking forward to see one in the flesh down here in Melbourne as size and space is difficult to gauge in the various videos. We had a full size van, but we now have limited space where we can store a van onsite.

I had a good look at an expedition in Melbourne last weekend. Very underwhelming indeed. I thought that the vans were great, but no longer considering an expedition. Have you ever reviewed an Ultimate Camper?

@@PatrickDerksen-lm1wi needs a complete remodel inside, complete camper we’ve seen - not bad. A redesign inside the exposition is needed in my view.

GCM upgrades have a lot of new rules particularly for post rego fitting. Plenty of GVM upgrades by most suspension brands.

Nothing yet - we’ve removed everything out of the rear draws and things like the fridge etc, now we can tow but still will benefit from an upgrade. The Vision was impressive in hybrid and caravan versions. Owning a zone puts most things behind it in comparison when we look at all the new ones so far. The industry is improving for sure!

Nobody would give us one to review or to hire unfortunately! I've seen plenty and they are a good option!

Our pleasure - it was great to get all of the intel straight from the professionals. I think a lot of people are a little iffy about renting their vans/campers out - all I can say is that our experience has been nothing short of fantastic - and the managed service aspect of not having to do it all yourself is also impressive. @@caravansbythecampfire Like everything in life it has its good and bad points. Its far slower and less comfortable than the Ranger was and its more basic inside (not that this worries me) Its certainly heavier than the van so more in control and is designed to outlast a car based 4wd.

Correct - they can’t but everyone is free to choose. Personally I love Jayco and everything they do to get people out and about - amazing story, product range and support network - pricing is now mid to high range with upgrades. Silverline’s are my favourite and more so now I see the wood grain being removed from some of their products. Plenty of vans and cars out there you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg - bargains second hand everywhere, and with washing machines… 😂. Thanks for your comment, much appreciated. Mate, I love recliners and have seen a few. Unfortunately we haven’t seen any for rent to get our hands on. The best one was a bloke removed his cafe lounge and table and put 2 movie seat in! Fantastic!! Another was a 25 footer with no club lounge but instead a couple of recliners and a small table - excellent again. They just look different but I love the idea. Thanks for your comments. If you like a recliner and it’s your passion, make it happen!

Urban and Titanium are full of features and are similar on many fronts - pretty much the same apples with both having claims of superiority. Vans that need dust reduction systems are always a question mark for me if fulltime bush travelling. Zone is not your normal van construction in comparison.
