I knew a guy who used the crush sleeve to initially set the pinion preload. Then he took it out and machined one to it's measurements.

I have a core L33 aluminum 5.3 that I got for free. It was running when pulled but I do know it ran low on oil at some point. I've taken the valve covers and vally cover off but have not went any farther. It is really clean on the inside and I did not see any damage. I plan on tearing it apart soon. If im lucky I'll just throw some bearings, rings and gaskets in it.

The wilwood master cylinder paired with their proportioning valve with the adjustable rear brake bias valve works very well in my experience.
@morganpowell2999Ай бұрын
So on the wishbone link on the rear, forgive me I’m a novice here, but I’ve heard of several different ways of hooking this up. 1. Is the way you have it. 2. Just like how you have it but backwards. 3. Just how you have it but on the bottom side. I’ve heard that when it’s on the bottom side, it induces under steer, but that is easily overcome with the right rear anti roll bar, and it becomes very balanced. It has a lower toll center if I remember correctly. Is there a reason why you chose to install it the way you did?
@designbuilddriveАй бұрын
Yes, there was some theory behind it too. I wanted a higher roll center in the rear to couter act the lower roll center in the front and keep both tires planted in the rear. Thats the basics of it and its working as intended so far.

G'day mate. Loving the build. 3 1/2 years ago I got hit in the head at work and got a brain injury and have been housebound. I live in constant pain and I'm always trying to find something to distract me from that because anything I do makes it worse even watching videos. So the content has to be really interesting to our way the pain it causes. You are one of the few things that is interesting enough for me to watch. So I just wanted to say thank you for making it available to watch so I have at least something to do with my time.
