Hey man nice float! Not trying to cast shade as i know we are all on our own journey, however, you are paddling that Alpaca backwards. The T-Zip goes in the back. I have the same boat (Forager), its very capable you can see me paddling it in Alaska on my channel. But you sit on that hump where the zipper is when padding in tandem, trust me it can take it. Bow paddler sits on the seat placed in the middle position. It will handle better if you paddle forwards. Keep up the good work. Ivan

@@ivanoutdoors Thank you! I subscribed to your channel and will certainly watch some of your float videos, and others. I love Alaska! The next trip I took the Forager out solo and sat on the middle seat with the square bow facing forward- it did handle much better ;-) …until I hit the first class III rapids that was filled with huge boulders (shallow). As I rode up on one of the shallower boulders, it flipped the boat, and me, and was a painful few minutes bouncing off the rocks gathering myself and the boat.

@@YouDecideIsItWorthIt yea WW is a practice. A journey. I paddle it solo most of the time. I move the seat aft. I added extra anchor points. That puts my mass in the mid ship region. Then jam my toes in between the floor and tubes. I’ve seen this boat on the grand loaded in someone else’s videos. It can get the job done. But I’m going to add a skeg mount for flat watering.

Hi Georg! We’ve had a couple good weekends camping with family in Idaho, although it’s been hot…100+ F (~38 C). All of the blackened trees are burned. Every year mid-summer the fires burn all over the Western USA - that’s why it was smokey in the video and the mountains weren’t visible….
