Yeah I wouldn't be taking the radiator out with this job that's just for clearance room but long as you can work with it at the bottom you got it just make sure to take loose that 10 mm so you'll have to play in the wires..

They work hand in hand so I would imagine it would cause a problem eventually.. the solenoid releases the gases to go back to the charcoal canister.

Yes you can find one at the junkyard and get it put in yourself it's only two straps event tube and the gas line connected and also the connector..

You can unplug everything from up under the seat and then drop the tank down.

You can unplug the fuel pump relay or fuse and then turn the engine over four or five times to have the injectors fire off to release pressure, or sometimes it'll have a shredder valve on the fuel rail to release pressure..

lol u do not need to replace ur gasket every time u change the tune up lol u normally change it if ur doing the lifters in the engine so you won’t have a leak

Well typical tune-up goes between 2 to 3 years or depending on how much mileage is on the car so if the gaskets have been in there for that long getting hot and cold for that amount of time I would recommend replacing them so you won't have a leak..

Hey I’m currently having the same problems with my wife’s jeep liberty. I’ve installed and been through 4 alternators and batteries. It gave a P0118 code but I know for a fact that it’s not the engine coolant sensor. It’s some shortage in wiring possibly and I’m trying to find out where.

Best thing to do is to get your wire diagram and then run a separate wire just by typing in from the fuse box to behind that wire connector, or you can also probe the wire to see where it's losing its power.

I bought some universal bushings, and I found one that will fit into the linkage arm but won't let the ball on the bottom part get into the bushing. It works for now but isn't connected completely. I'm gonna buy this bushing part number and see if it works. Did you use any grease to help it get onto the ball?

Correct after I charge the system and put dye in it I could not spot the die nowhere else and I did hear a hissing inside the truck so that was a tall tale sign..

Yes that's correct it breaks right there at the coolant jacket on the thermostat housing..

Yes if a belt is dry rotted or has got enough oil on it to be stretched out your belt can also make a screeching noise..

Yo anyone doing this be extra carful cutting the metal out. on mine a 1999 there was a line directly under the metal. I used Nibblers with thick leather gloves. I was worried about hitting a line. I would have cut it open with a cut wheel, There was no space between. the 1999 has more sideways\ diagonal lines instead of straight up. On the other hand it could be that the lines was moved because the pump was replaced before.. so just be careful you might think the lines are somewhere but not there.

Easy fix.....put emergency break on, put car in Neutral, Crank the car and turn break lights off but thats if your car can cut on but not start nor crank and cant put your car in park and stuck on drive.

Contact the Ford dealership and see if they got the linkage sometimes you may have to open the hole up a little bit on the one from the store with the drill bit..

I'm not exactly sure if it's in the same location on the 99 it most likely is if it's the same fuel pump from 98 to 99, Thanks by the way and yes I did have to Jack the rear up to get under to be able to access the connector.

No. The 99 is a plastic tank. Pump is closer to the back. Cut about a 7 x 7 inch square in middle from bottom.

Why not bench test the alternator? Why not put a multimeter directly to it? Could have saved yourself time not just throwing parts at a vehicle

To bench test the alternator I had to take it back to the parts store I had already put in a multimeter directly to it and it was only giving out 11 volts that's why I put a new alternator in there..
