Good job other then you should have cleaned around it before removing the bolts holding down the pump

Have a 2014 Kia forte I punctured a whole in the gas tank watching wonder what they gone charge idk if I can get the new tank in by myself

Yes you can find one at the junkyard and get it put in yourself it's only two straps event tube and the gas line connected and also the connector..

You can unplug everything from up under the seat and then drop the tank down.

Sorry for the late response but yes it may be a different fuel pump but it should be the same process

How did you release the pressure so that gas dont go everywhere.

You can unplug the fuel pump relay or fuse and then turn the engine over four or five times to have the injectors fire off to release pressure, or sometimes it'll have a shredder valve on the fuel rail to release pressure..

Check to see if the part numbers are the same if they use the same fuel pump it'll most likely be the same process..

Don’t you need to remove the fuse or relay first before working on the pump?

Long as you unplug the battery the fuse nor relay will have power if you want to relieve the pressure you can release the pressure from your shredder valve if you have one on your fuel rail if not then you can remove the fuse and crank it up and let it run out of gas to release the pressure..

It could be related but a fuel pump most likely only going to do it a couple of times before it goes out completely..

@@yash5885 that sounds more like a gas issue sounds like your tank might not be venting or your purse not might not be purging your tank can basically go under vacuum to it's not strong enough to pump out.

So it can be related to fuel tank venting but shouldn’t it be occurring only when I fill my tank to brim,that’s what last mechanic told me. Thanks again!!

It can be on your EVAP system is the engine light on and if so what is the codes
