Really interesting how you use the guitar's controls for each pickup to master your tone. Coincidentally, I just bought a Boss Blues Driver to replace some wilder overdrives, so your video is incredibly helpful. Rock!

I don't want to sound like Dimebag Darrell when I plug in.That seems like what most stomp boxes offer. I'm looking for something between Clapton and Santana and I think you've helped me find it. Thank you, Ben

I've still got my Blues Driver, still use it, still love it. But honestly, try the DOD/Shoe Looking Glass. For me (and I almost hate to admit it, as I like the BD-2 so much) it does the same kinda thing, in a slightly different way, but sounds even more amp-like/natural.

Absolutely brilliant. I've just about nailed the intro and I'll work on the slide next, thanks Ben. Where can I pick up those tabs?

Great Demo, I've been looking at this Amp for a while now, wondering if I should get this one or the 50 watt version. I play mostly Rockabilly and Country style, throw in a little blues rock now and again. I was thinking that the 50 watt version would be enough, but now I might be better off with the 100 to get more head room. I don't want to play real loud but I'm worried that the 50 would break up a little too soon. I'm not sure what i want. Maybe the 100 would be the safe bet, because you can always lower volume and use pedals for overdrive or distortion at lower volume. Any thoughts? Great playing and I would say the best demo of this amp, Thanks!

I have the combo version of Milkman The Amp 50 - I feel that the mid bump is noticeable both on the DI signal as well as the amp's speaker. This approach to EQ is the best way to approximate a clean Fender sound - super helpful video.

I love the BD-2! I had it mod'd to get it slightly fatter, and it IS amazing. Sounds and plays a lot like an amp, 100% agreed!

That wee Pignose was sweet!. You have to get yourself a Moviola URS if you're into tiny monstrous amps, the Ediquip 1027A is incredible too. They where used for synchronizing sound onto film way back in the day, Black Sabbath used them in the studio so you know they're legit!.

I like the EHX Glove - it does everything but I still have a Boss Blues Driver and I go back and forth between a Caline Pure Sky and the Blues Driver. Between those three pedals I get it all.

I like the " psychedelic" effect of a late stage Drive for certain things, and the way I dealt with this is to have a Tape style delay pre Drive; at one stage, I had a second ( spring) reverb up front as well, but the board was getting stupid crazy. If you like Spring reverb, the Grail is classic, though I have to say that I preferred both the Topanga and True Spring.Recently, I acquired a Surfybear Compact, which is big footprint, - but also unbeatable. Because I use two small boards instead of one big one, I move the Wah and Volume pedal from front to middle as desired. People sometimes like to claim that one pedal is similar to another , and that may be true by itself, but it's more really how the different effects interact, - and that's where specifics matter. If you want to push mids, I'd go with a Germanium Treble Booster before a TS circuit every time.

Ben, got my friends to go see y'all out in baton rouge. Third time seeing y'all and may have been my favorite. Y'all fuckin ripped. My friend is also a guitarist (as am I) and we kept just giving each other side eye because of how absolutely fuckin sick you are and how effortless you make it look.

So tasty . Ben has become one of fave guitarists . Got the beautiful delicacy of Open Passageways and Mellowing stuff one minute then thundering away on Enemy of my Enemy . Saw them in Forth Worth on holiday. Great concert Just hope they come to Australia sometime soon .

I just bought this pedal and started experimenting with it after researching. It is exactly what I needed. The tone is important to the overall sound just dial it in and then adjust your guitar volume it works perfectly. I have a 2 channel 5150 combo amp and this adds a third channel between the clean and the highest gain, then adjustable almost infinitely. It is awesome.

Hey Ben! Another great lesson. Can you make a tutorial on how did you compose Everest? I have watched the tutorial on how to play it, but I'm really interested in knowing how did you write it? It sounds classical to me, but not really. Looking forward :)
