I loved watching this show as a kid as well as Maude... They dont make comedy this now...

New Jersey instead of Florida. Yeah! Broad instead of Maude. I love it! And, I love the show Maude. What a great spoof!

This sketch did a perfect job of mimicking Maude's extreme, almost forced, liberalism. Norman Lear did a great job of juxtaposing Archie Bunker and Maude without favoring either.

If that’s modern feminism, get outta here. It’s nasty, aggressive, unpleasant, derogating to the husband. I wouldn’t live with that crab if you paid me to.

I first heard this song on her Live at Last album in the very early 80s and it's a bit different from the Divine Madness concert film but that's the beauty of a Bette Midler performance - no two are ever alike but always astoundingly beautiful. She keeps it fresh and engaging.

One of the best sketches Carol and company ever did! As hilarious as the hilarious show they're lampooning! Loved Ms.Sanford's take on 'Florida'. It's too funny.....'New Jersey', indeed!! 😆

What a priceless, timeless time capsule! Farah's Ultrabrite commercial popped into my head last night, which led me here, thank goodness. I did NOT remember all these commercials. Ha-ha - a mattress for under $100?! And such a great tribute to an amazing and beautiful person. Thank you!

The year 1977, the scene? Grown up working our family's farms. Got my first public JOB. Working for the chef in our small town USA. Got trained by this super hot chick named Stephanie. I was only 15. Lied about my age to get the JOB. 3rd day in. I think I worked right after HS. Had to be punched in @ 3. Anywho, the girl that trained me. Would take me outside with her so she could smoke her Marlboro reds! She took about 15 smoke breaks every night. So we were outside. I think only maybe 4 of us working. I was scraping my grille, when she told me to step out back I'm having a cigarette. I go outside and not 30 seconds later this girl was sucking my you know what so hard. I thought I must have been saving her life. So being the good young man I was, I proceeded to safely save this young woman's life. God bless you Stephanie, you lost but never forgot

There was at least one Burger Chef in my neighborhood. There was hardly a McDonald’s in my neighborhood. That’s was the early 1970s.

Yeah, I miss those days and I definitely remember those commercials while watching Saturday morning cartoons with my brother in the early '70's.
