Just as a heads up, if you're not or the axle isn't designed to be have the axle nut punched, you need a medium blue thread locker to prevent the axle nut from coming loose as you drive. Also, never put any kind of lubricant/anti seize on your threads of anything. It might make it easier to remove next time you're down there, but that also means it's gonna make it easier for bumps and vibrations to cause those nuts and bolts to come loose. First wheel bearing I did, I didn't let the anti seize set and drove it too soon causing the axle nut to come loose. I thought I had a bad wheel bearing again, but when I got home I realized that my axle nut was slowly coming off. Again, NEVER put anti seize on threads, it's dangerous.

@bijdikh8516 I've been doing exactly what I did on cars almost my entire life. For example, my hondas haven't had any problems and I don't even punch the nuts with a chisel to lock them. I believe that my car will be fine. But thank you for the advice. I'll keep an eye out for the nut to come loose.

When you wire in the IAT to the T1 sensor, are you unpinning it from the factory MAF sensor? How does the car still start and not shut off despite no air duct after the MAF sensor? Thanks!

I cur the 2 wires that go to the iar intake sensor and wire in the new sensor with the 2 wires. In Hondata you disable the mass airflow sensor and run the engine on map. You will require the car to be tuned.

Thank you for this! Most of the other videos don't go far enough to get things really clean. I picked up my Model 3 with ~170k miles and the radiator couldn't have been more packed with dirt and crud. There was zero airflow at all (I have pictures!) and as a result was the AC didn't work at all, and the fan was always howling trying to cool the car. The last straw was when I showed up to a meeting soaked with sweat. I took an evening off and got this done. Your video clearly explained every step I needed to take (though it made some steps look easier than they ended up being for me.) Now that it's clean, it's working so well. You saved me! (PS. I got a great deal on the car, in part I think, because the AC didn't work!)

@jorgegarcia700515 күн бұрын
@db3837 this error message typically comes after a windshield replacement, however, I would make sure that you plugged in all connections unplugged during the cleaning process. Typically in the past the issue has also been a software issue, you can try a soft reset and if that doesn't work, you can try a hard reset. Both procedures are outlined in the onboard users manual.

It can, I started far away from the radiator and brought it close enough to remove the grime. I also kept the stream straight and not at an angle. My pressure washer is only 1600 psi, and I can get my hand about 5 inches away from the nozzle before it hurts. I have had other pressure washers that have triple the power, I wouldn't use those.

@jorgegarcia7005Ай бұрын
For the past 24 years I've been using antiseize. No issues. Now, on things that require pressision like let's say, the head studs on my performance motor, the instructions require to use torque lube for the correct torque to be applied. If you don't want to prevent rust on the fasteners you are welcomed to do so. I prefer my way which has never let me down.
