@AmandatheJedi I'm sorry this video was such a pain in the ass to get approved, but you did a PHENOMENAL job re-engaging the feelings I had first watching this movie. You are an exceptional reviewer/reactor. 🎉

This was the wort Scream by a mile and a half. Wes Craven is rolling in his grave.

Me and my friends just rewatched this today and realized that the scenes where Alice was suffocating means that she's basically dying in the real world (the reveal shows she's basically a vegetable), thus there's a voiceover of Jack telling her to breathe.

19:22 Everything here is just about that symbol, The symbol on the bilble pages are a telling in a example “Action With No consequence” in many ways can be explained as your god is not un nerve able mentally there is no reason too confuse yourself simply the un nerved is more nerved by anything so you can say I’m nerved about nothing 0% of people on this planet are un nerved , 100% you couldn’t be more normal than anyone else , in order for the brain to work the nerves send signals an simply placing one word to one example an not many is blunt, it shoulda been tighter u didn’t smoke it but Here “ Action With No consequence” is me saying proudly out loud “Gift Before Pain” “Ik for a fact No One Is Watching” It Is TIME WE ALL FORGET ABOUT THE GODS The Word of gods will anger you The Word of wisdom n medicine will inspire you I’m certain in second life you will want pain, more say vengeance “No One Said This“ “evil Will Serve” “torment to innocent is Forever Punished” Murder Crulity Hatred These category of words Bring Captial C confusion Everything will be okay. Have a great day anyone still here Read on, in 100yrs I will be a write off nothing more but I’m scared of never being able to learn again I want to learn everything that us as a people made up it’s all made up school is beauty school, beauty school is real work hands on nah this is natural no one is above the law yea controlled opinion- in fact expands your life expectancy respect them , “land of the free” “home of the brave “ what surfaces the skin is nerving, what enters the skin makes me nervous does this end. You will hurt at extreme measures too feel it all die anyway you want

Anytime the "professionals" like something, but the audience score is poor... Stay away. There are exceptions, of course. *Cloverfield* got good audience reviews for the most part, showing that Americans are truly brain dead. If you _like_ getting seasick while watching a movie, with crap dialog, stupid plot, and a largely MIA Kaiju, not to mention he dies, she dies, *_everybody dies!_* then feel free to waste your time on Cloverfield. 😂

The scene where his father admits what happened to him made me weep. I was assaulted once and one of my last conversations with my late father was him telling me that he had been too, which I never had any idea of until then. The way Donny's dad is so much more caring toward him after the conversation when Donny was so afraid he'd think less of him and reject him was powerful. He was portrayed as such an uptight, aggressive character but he becomes noticeably softer with him because he knows the pain his son is in. It got me.

While I understand it isn’t the point, it would have been kind of nice/interesting if, at the end when Patrick does the special serve.. Art breaks out of it, not by getting his love for tennis back, but by acknowledging how his life is more than tennis, and that he loves his wife for more than what she can do for him. It shouldn’t be the catalyst for reuniting him and Patrick, but rather him and Tashi, and they go on to accept they can have a life outside of tennis.

On Alex Meyers' video, somebody commented that the writer of Challengers is married to Celine Song and they think this movie is his admission that they should've ended up a thruple AND I HAVE NOT STOPPED THINKING ABOUT THAT.

Wow, thank you for warning me away from this. It sounds like it's even worse than GOTG3 in the animal cruelty department, and sounds phenomenally dumb to boot. I do, however, want to give you all the props for yet another hilarious rant that sees you going from 0 to 60 faster than John Cleese in Monty Python's "Architect" sketch.

People might disagree, but I really think Art was the bigger problem between the two. He was the first one going behind his friend's back. He later got angry at Patrick on Tashi's behalf for something he didnt do and basically cut ties with him. It was Art that chose Tashi over Patrick, which is very toxic. Though Patrick was an a-hole, I don't blame him for what he did to Art. Art "broke" up with him first, so what he did with Tashi doesn't count as cheating on his friend since they weren't friends.

I did not get this "happy ending" feeling. Instead I thought the two guys finally repaired their friendship again, tossing away all the fame, which is temporary, for something which can last a life time. Meanwhile, Tashy saw that both of her choices were just awful. One who could not and one who would not do what she liked.

Bless. Thank you for mentioning the fact that Lily is way too young to be Patrick's one-night-stand daughter. I've seen waaay too many people pretend it makes sense, just cause they're desperate for more unnecessary drama. It's something I'd expect form the CW, not a Luca film, and it's also such a disservice to Tashi's intelligence. Top 3 Challengers "theories" that suck ass.

Oh to be as passionate about anything as these characters are about tennis. Or maybe not, since that was really toxic and maybe only having one source of joy actually equals zero sources.

I described Tashi as having the "Goldilocks" problem. With Patrick, he just won't listen to her at all, even tho she knows she's got SOME points. But Art just listens to every single thing she says without ever pushing back, but she also knows she doesn't get EVERYTHING right. She wants someone that will see her for the amazing whole person she is but also see her for the mess she can be, and accept both sides. Someone willing to listen but also willing to fight.
