Really loving your layering wood engraving, but please lubricate your rolling tool. The high pitched squeaking really frightened my dog. Highly anticipating your next video.

I think it’s gorgeous, the colours may be different than your usual palette but the mark making seems very much ‘you’. I love how you keep striving to learn through experimentation and I love hearing your self-reflection on your process too; both the technical and creative challenges you face. Am excited to see the next collection and your calendar! 😊

Molly, I loved this video. And your color pallet spoke to me. I love that you showed and spoke about your disappointments and how you work through things. So many things we see on KZfaq are edited to only show the very best and not the trials and tribulations to get there. Thanks!

I would enjoy and be grateful for intermittent footage through the seasons, or whatever works best, if that’s an idea. I join you in your passion for the natural outdoors world and love it when you share. Nice to see you and Winnie looking so well. I love looking at my prints every day 💜

Gorgeous as always. I am often wondering how you store all these blocks you make. I would be interested in seeing that in an upcoming video maybe???
@mollylemonart12 күн бұрын
Thank you! Oh I either give them back to my block maker for him to sand down meaning I can create a new design on the block, or I store them in boxes under my stairs as it's cool in that cupboard, my attic studio is too hot for them and they could split!

Really glad to see another video from you, although I was hoping the reason was that you had taken a break to relax and not that you were so busy. I look forward to your videos and I’m happy to enjoy them on whatever schedule is sustainable. I love the trail camera and the footage from it. The mouse was particularly darling. Thank you for sharing your process and your print, which I loved - I’m going to watch for the release on this one. P.s. Happy belated birthday!

Hi Molly fantastic video and print, it's great you got some footage with your camera. I have a trail camera and got some great nighttime photos and video of badgers. We have highland cows down the road from my house and I got inspired to paint one I use oil pastels but I am trying out wood engraving as well.

They're great fun aren't they! We used to have badgers in the garden, sadly they don't visit any more but I used to love watching them on the camera and coming up with names for them all! Good luck with your wood engravings!

Hi Molly! I just found you on YT right before your break and I'm so glad you're okay! You've inspired me to try wood engraving & now it's my new passion. Here in the US I can really only find hard maple locally but it's quite the challenge to engrave on. You make it look so easy! I think maybe bc I'm using wood not specifically selected for engraving? I'm on the end grain and using EC Lyons tools but I finally broke down & ordered blocks from Chris Daunt 😂
@mollylemonart12 күн бұрын
Oh I'm so pleased you are loving wood engraving! Yes I've tried maple and didn't love it to be honest. Glad you've invested in some blocks from Chris! Also it probably looks easy because I've been doing to for 8 years, it just takes practice!
