One of my favorite videos on KZfaq is the final race of the movie with eurobeat edited in. Its glorious.

One last thing, the finale is the one of the most moving, poetic, and thrill inducing endings I have ever seen in 30 years of watching movies. From Speed " hearing" the car, and jump starting it into a sick drift, the montage of everything he has been through and those he met, while litterally turning the race itself into a work of art like his mother told him he was capable of. I have no shame saying Every time i see this finale, I get chills, tears down my cheeks, and a satisfied smile.

I honestly saw it 5 times in theater.

I've seen both positive and negative reviews of this film. And I feel the positives outweigh the negatives. First, the movie was given the worst release date, having to compete with Ironman and The Dark Knight releasing weeks between each other. 2nd The color use is phenomenal and sucks you in. 3rd while I've heard complaints about the rapid cuts, People don't understand that is the point, this film is all about SPEED (Pun Intended 😜) so the rapid cuts are showing the fast paced world and I also think it's just how Speed Racer perceives the world. Like he said, when he's in a car going fast everything in the world just makes sense.

I think James Gunn could make a great ninja turtles movie.

I think the reason TMNT 2014 was a success, and the sequel wasn’t. Was probably because the 2014 version was more darker like the first film, even though really it has a lot of issues and problems.

I remember walking out of the movie after watching Speed Racer in theaters for the first time. My friend turned to me and said, "If you think about it, that movie had more action in it than Iron Man"

Saw this when it came out, i was like 9. It was cool as shit, had the video game that tied in with it on the wii

They needed a better director. If Michael Bay could do what he did for Transformers, someone could do the same for Power Rangers. The cast was amazingly picked. It should have either started with them already being the Power Rangers, like the first movie, and then done a prequel later, or they should have already been friends and gone on a 'hero’s journey' together, with Zordon being like Yoda, so to speak. No offense, but individually showing all the characters resulted in 1) terrible pacing and 2) too much screen time for a franchise called Power Rangers. As mentioned, it felt like The Breakfast Club with Power Rangers only at the end. If they never got their powers, it would still have been an okay movie.

Honestly I’d hire you to make a Power Rangers movie but with a couple catches. 1. I’d want to work with you on the script of the story. 2. I’d be giving only $75M dollars for the production budget so I can save up another $75M for marketing 3. You would have to do it the Christopher Nolan Style, meaning No CGI. And I’d give you from May 9th, 2025 to September 7th, 2025 to film and the rest of September all the way up to November 14th, for reshoots. And the film would have to come out on this release date: June 4th, 2026.

I saw this in IMAX. let's just say that choice left An Impression.

Growing up and loving speedracer in the 70s…this movie was AWFUL AND SO DISAPPOINTING.

I don't feel like you should call them the Watchowski Sisters, I believe they were still both men at the time of the movie's creation. I also wouldnt say that Pops Racer said anything anti-Capitalist as the Racer Motors Company is a capitalist idea, maybe anti-corporation is a better fit.

Speed racers vibe goes good for a double feature with Batman or ironman...maybe even all three. Start with speed then ironman and let the kids sleep so you can get adult in Gotham. It's a vibe. I like it

I’m from Argentina, so I saw the movie in Spanish. Recently, I wondered how the dialogue at 22:10 was in English, and now I see... at least I didn’t get the joke. I have to say, in Spanish it was funny because: Trixie: ¿Eso era un ninja? Dad: Más bien una NIÑA Translated: Trixie: Was that a ninja? Dad: More like a little girl But NIÑA and NINJA sound similar in Spanish, so the joke is funnier. I love that this movie is being revisited now. I loved it when it came out.

I loved this movie from the first time I saw it…the story, the action and it was gorgeous to look at. It’s one of my favorite films. It’s an absolute masterpiece.

My only argument is the Wachowskis do not shoehorn in anything the little brother and the monkey were annoying in the show. Therefore, they are annoying in the movie. If anything, they’re cranked up to 11 like everything that Wachowskis do

I love the Ninja Turtles and I've always loved them since I was a kid. I remember waking up on Saturday morning's watching the 2003 series and being so invested in the story. I even owned the first half of the first season on DVD (I might've had more, but honestly I don't remember if I did. If I did, I lost it). Ironically enough I saw this movie for the first time when my teacher in the 8th grade played it for us. That was probably the most enjoyment I got out of the film because it was before I got my glasses, and I sat at the back of the room, and I could barely tell what was even going on half of the time. I was on the Internet at the time when info was coming out, but I never knew where or how to look for it. So I had no idea about most of this information, and if it was done today, there would be riots in the city of New York about what they did. I like what the turtles wear as it does match their personality, but the overall design just isn't it. They're too big, they're basically invincible against anything else besides the main villain, and most of the time I'm not really looking at the turtles. I'm looking at someone's interpretation of them, and it's done poorly. Megan Fox is fine, but she still not good. Shame Michael Bay won't stop sexualizing her though. Overall, I'm not upset that they didn't continue these movies, because it probably would've gotten worse over time. I watched TMNT Mutant Mayhem awhile ago, and I enjoyed that a lot more even if I feel the movie forgot that they're supposed to be fucking Ninja's!! Either way, I think I would mostly just have these as background movies. They're not good enough to sit down and watch, but not bad enough to not play at all.
