-“Long Dong Silver?” Why not, “The Sun Dial” or “The Compass Needle” or seeing how a great many landmarks are named after buildings in Washington DC, they should have gone with “The Utah Monument” (after the Washington Monument). Nope they went with “Long Dong Silver.”

Looks like Turn 12. We were in a bar off-screen to the left and could see lots of people outside CVS watching the race for free, as well as from the skybridge (right of frame), the escalator, and whatever else was elevated -- maybe some patio associated with the Fashion Show mall. There were a lot of people watching for free. Sadly, I expect F1 will try harder next year to block the views rather than making the tickets more affordable.

This way cool! I’ve been looking at maps to get to this point but it looks like Private roads or land within Dead Horse Point State Park. Any chance you saw signs indicating this? I still plan to go…and how far or long did you hike from your car to get there? Great shots here :)

I followed a dirt bike trail, then went off-trail to the cliff. I didn't see any sign. Occasionally I saw steel wires, but they were very old, half-buried in sand, and not in my way. It took me 2h15m car to car.

my mistake was to have seen this on my 65" HD flat screen, in full screen.. Channel surfing You Tube can get surprising, and informative. I now know exactly how many bites a Red Fox needs to devour a chipmunk, head first 🐿
