what a lovely memory - shame they didn't get the kings players tapping fleury's pads as they went off the ice (the locker rooms were across the ice and the visiting team had to cross in front of the penguins' goal, at the end of the game) also i forgot what a smarmy dweeb brent stover was. loved trenni, couldn't stand brent.

I remember watching the finish of this game in disbelief. I'll never forget it. My visits to Jacksonville have been far less exciting than the way this went.

An all-time classic of a game. Also the game that basically ended Chip Caray's career as a national announcer, with bungled calls and his portrayal of Detroit itself. It's a Rust Belt city that had been on hard times, but Chip was acting like it was war-torn Mogadishu and the Tigers were its residents' only hope.

The Penguins top 5 forwards in 2001 of Lemeuix, Kovalev,Jagr, Lang and Straka was the best in the NHL that season. The problem was that there bottom 13 was the worst in the NHL that season.
