I think more DNA study should be done on deer. I think they interbreed with other deer a lot more than we think. My father has seen mule deer with elk horns in Montana. He knows his deer and the guides confirmed that. And there are odd variations of mule, whitetail and elk in SD. Beautiful.

My nicest buck was taken in green county Ohio 2002. Big buck country. I met Mike the next year. He was working doing electrical work, and I was doing work as a trapper outside xenia.
