The mike Beatty buck has the most beautiful set of antlers I’ve ever seen!

I think more DNA study should be done on deer. I think they interbreed with other deer a lot more than we think. My father has seen mule deer with elk horns in Montana. He knows his deer and the guides confirmed that. And there are odd variations of mule, whitetail and elk in SD. Beautiful.

My nicest buck was taken in green county Ohio 2002. Big buck country. I met Mike the next year. He was working doing electrical work, and I was doing work as a trapper outside xenia. I said aren't you the one that got that big buck? He said yes. I don't know if he remembers me, but I will always remember him. Andrew.

It’s a good thing that 8 point buck didn’t offer him a shot, otherwise this buck would’ve been history

I am in the same air force reserve unit that he was in.

If it's scored in eights then it would be 2438 eights.

It would cool to shoot one like any of those at the beginning but everyone around me has to shoot everything. Had someone shoot a busted up buck never tagged it left it lay on the side of the road next to my property and they claimed it had cwd

304 6/8 why? 6/8 = 3/4" Keep it simple.
@ratherbefishing42254 жыл бұрын
They do that because when you're measuring the antlers you write all the measurements on the sheet in 8ths and that way when you add the score up you can add 8ths with 8ths instead of 1/2s and 3/4s and 8ths and constantly doing conversions
@codyherman29772 жыл бұрын
Joe m the system is scored in 8ths. Simple enough.
@dozinalldayАй бұрын
Deer scoring system is the most ridiculous thing ever. Need to do away with deductions, typical, non typical. A deers total gross score should be theeee score. Period

@@progressive29 No. Hunting is necessary. For population control and organic meat with no chemicals. Man has hunted deer for thousands of years. Cut your hair and lay off the meth.
@generalfranco9399 Жыл бұрын
@@progressive29 Why? Would you prefer we bought the meat of animals who lived miserable lives instead? We hunt because it's good clean food, the animal lived in the fashion it was meant to its entire life. Brain dead nutters like you don't understand the concept of game management and how hunters actually benefit the ecosystem.

I believe I'll pass I just don't like eating and shooting them farm fed deer.its kinda like smoking synthetic marijuana, just don't do for me

Not very impressive. But that's just my opinion

@TheThingHidingUnderYourBed Where I live. There's several deer farms. I see deer with 30 plus inch spreads every year. There every where
@codyherman29772 жыл бұрын
Randy Miller yea you see genetically modified farm raised deer. If you can’t appreciate a wild deer the size of the Beatty buck than you don’t know shit about deer or deer hunting.
