wow, Michelin Star Khao Soi! When I saw your video, I immediately craved a Khao Soi soup, unfortunately I'll have to wait a bit until I'm back in Thailand. If I go to Chiang Mai, I will definitely visit this restaurant!

Burning season in Chiang Mai area, that's why. Farmers burned crops to plant new ones because it is easiest and cheapest that way. Gov should try and figure out and work with farmers for a better solution. That is the main part of the reasons why the air quality is bad in Chiang Mai. Like about 3 months during Jan-March? Green is lime for your khao soi. Lemon is yellow.

stingy is ขี้งก and ฝรั่งขี้นก isn't stingy farang. The phrase originally is a pejorative for a Thai person who acts like a white person, but now it's misunderstood to refer to the backpackers and digital nomads kind. The word literally is a variety of guava (farang in Thai), and it's supposed to say that the person is just this variety of guava, but will never be a real guava (farang).
