Just a few tips as been doing it for years, you CAN use calico thats all I use, dont leave such a long tail you only need about an inch. You dont need thick wool you can use embroidary cotton comes out eautifully

Great tutorial, I've just got my sc f100 yesterday and getting dull colours but with windows PC. I'll try to find similar settings that you've mentioned. So far I've only tried on grosgrain ribbon and white glitter htv so not sure if that's a fair test?

Hi page when making the safiya trousers I am tracing out pattern and a bit confused tracing out the front legs Do l need to add more paper at the lengthening line on pattern to make them the same size as back legs on pattern Many thanks Sandra x

Hi I use something called a. hemostat for turning out my Luna rabbits as they are fiddly. On Amazon about£5 looks like a pair of scissors but they lock at the tips so it holds onto your fabric you pull it through then unlock them. Hope that makes sense😅

Love a sew along, the blouse is gorgeous ❤ Have you tried a darning needle with a large eye and blunt point to thread the elastic? I think it would be the type of needle used for sewing up hand knitted garments. Might work 😊

I've had the skitch for a month now and you learn very quickly that you should not pay for the app, they made a lot of the features for using your own designs free now, AND the real issue is that the skitch is 10cm x 10cm max so only a tiny fraction of the paid designs work on it. Brother would have to add a load more smaller designs to make it worth subscribing over just buying from a small etsy seller and emailing the file to your phone.

@@paigejoannaa I really don't get the fuss over only using the app, this machine is such a bargain and I'm not sure now I've used the take a picture of the hoop feature that I could do without it now, if I even need to replace it with a machine with a bigger hoop it will be a brother. Couple of things, it likes a top stitching needle for metallic thread, and it will take the cheap wholesale bobbins , we've been using the white with tear away stabelizer without a single snapped thread. The bobbins you want are 60S/2 (60S2) thread weight 50WT = Brother recommend #90 thread
