What about if it’s the likes of a blaser where the parts aren’t replaceable and the action comes loose? Would really love to know how that’s done

Does anyone know where to find the video of how to disable the automatic safety on a Beretta 687? Just don’t remember.

Any time someone hands you a firearm always check to see if the weapon is loaded/unloaded. Never take someone's word for it.

Some very good info there. BUT alway use a bore guide! Fibre, steel and alloy rods will, if they touch the bore, throat, chambre etc will damage it. Even a plastic coated rod will pick up dirt! Then, over time it will score the metal of the barrel. So, alway use a bore guide!

Well, you have to put lube/cleaner on the points where they tell you to place it on the bore snake. I lube my bore snakes all the time in the three points where they tell you. No issue what so ever on accuracy

Have a good day, my friend. I have a question. I would like to know the tension force of the two nails that separate the barrel from the wood. How much is the effort? Note that the rifle I own is 300 caliber, model 1782. Thank you.

Regarding the first two steps of sanding and applying liquid . Without giving away proprietary secrets or formulas, could that step be done using Boiled Linseed oil? If so, would that be appropriate to “torch”?

Hi Rupert. Would the 1782 rifle make a good driven game rifle, in your opinion?

Hello Damien, I currently have the Anschütz 1781 DFL 30-06, shortened barrel and custom adjustable cheek-piece. Works wonders and a great rifle to customise! As most of my hunting is driven hunts I slim the rifle for driven season- A bit heavy but with a low power scope the balance of the gun is lovely! During stalking season I switch to a larger scope, a silencer and front legs. Can only recommend, great rifle and I think the 1782 is even more solid 💥

Maybe it’s just me, but I kind of expect a bit more from a “review” than just reciting all of the features. I can get those from their website.

They should have used the Sauer 202 barrel interface on this Annie so all barrels from the Sauer STR target rifle and SSG3000 would fit. In addition Schultz &Larsen and Vapensmia/Heym makes match and hunting barrels with the 202 interface.

No mention of the Kinetic Balancer system, provided by CG, that just slides into the same hole? They are weight-adjustable also reduce recoil.

I do, works great. I spray some down the barrel and on the brass brushes of the snake. They clean well especially if you do it after you shoot. It's too easy

Pretty crazy you went to the trouble of making an instruction video on bore-snakes use and forgot to mention anything about bore cleaners and oil, in fact you say to not use any, which is of course absurd.

Really good review thanks, Just purchased an S20 and so far very pleased with it. Not had any issues with the magazine feeding that seems to have been an issue in the past, so I guess they have solved it. My rifle is in 6.5 Creedmoor with a shortish ( 17/18 inch ) barrel. and so far shoots very well. Only issue i would highlight is the cost of the Sako scope mount cost, although with the weaver rails pretty easy to choose alternative mounting.

Nice I have one in precision 7mm and I'm left-hand. It's sweet ,except for the rattle in the clip ,I fixed it with felt tape ,but shouldn't have to for the price 2500 dollars Canadian with tax, .

Thanks for the review. I've got Anschutz 1782 in classic stock and 18" barrel. This is quite heavy pice of rifle, but this price is low cost for great accuracy. I was able to put hole in hole with Lapua MEGA 12g hunting bullets in 100 meters. In my opinion, Anschutz have the one of the best triggers you can get. You can set it for one stage or two stage with different pull weight. Overall, if someone is interested in this rifle, first check it weight. If that's not an issue, then go ahead and you will be very satisfied.

I’ve got a 12g CG and it too was v nose heavy - the barrels were so slow😢. I used kiln dried sand and filled the void up in the stock which balanced it just right. No drilling etc and easy as. Also the extra mass in the stock really soaks up recoil. I can shoot big pheasant loads or equivalent steel loads comfortably no problem and the barrels are so much faster and easier to swing

Can Sako S20 in .308 be both a range and hunting rifle?
@blueeyeddevil1
@blueeyeddevil1 Жыл бұрын
Yes, if you have both stocks and both fore-ends. For all calibers, it's a modular system that allows you to switch back and forth between a hunting setup and a precision setup (though the switching process, apparently, isn't super fast and easy). From what I understand, you buy the rifle as either the precision model or the hunter model, and you have the option to purchase the other kit if you choose to do so.
