Wow! This is the most impressive of all the newer Mega Drive releases. Looks and sounds like a Neo Geo level title! How many megs is this sucker? I know Astebros is like 140 and is a banger. Eathion looks even beefier!

Wow Yuzo is an amazing programmer / coding for the mega drive he made this look like arcade game I hope he’ll work with any of company to do a official release I would love to buy a original boxed cartridge for my mega drive collection again I can’t believe we’re getting great stuff for the mega drive just amazing from Yuzo

1:38 I kinda like how in this part they didnt use software scaling or a pre-rendered animation of the mothership in the background zooming in, but instead redrawing segments of said ship to be bigger, which is honestly a very common trick for most megadrive games

In general, NEC PC-FX should have started or continued the further existence of the platform precisely as a graphic accelerator of 2D/3D graphics and a motion jpeg decoder for the PC. It seems that NEC itself has not figured out what it wants to do, either a devkit, or a board for the versatility of PC-based multimedia systems, or a separate graphics accelerator like 3DFX or ATI RAGE.

Definitely that mortal Kombat arcade edition put an icing on the cake. Just opening the can or worm to fix a lot of games that had issues that could have been corrected to be way better than they were .

Apparently, Yuzo's Twitter states that this music dubbed in is actually the second stage theme [EDIT] Apparently, it IS stage 2. It's just shown as stage 1 because development.

My msx 2 gone bad and outputs a video of red screen and barely visible picture. I tried replacing all capacitors of the video board since issues like this most of the time a capacitor goes bad, but the issue still there. I tried to search on the internet until I found your video. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

Not sure on which side of the planet you are but the Western physical release for Mega Drive/ Genesis is through Limited Run Games. For the East it might be Playasia, but not really sure. They are aiming for a release this summer but delays can always happen. Modern consoles versions are planned but not confirmed.

This game is proof that people that put an HDMI port on their old console are idiots :P. IT looks so much better on a CRT (as, like the hardware, it is designed with it in mind), the moment you put on pixel perfect "sharp and crisp" looks the colors no longer blend and you get weird artifacts.

That villain origin story has got to be canon lmao Great job with the graphics and backgrounds, although in the first act, the tiles felt way distracting. But the project is great! I look forwards to support!
