Went to St. Jerome Grade School there in the early 70's. This was a wonder time of my childhood when our family moved there from Illinois. Lac La Belle swimming, Ashippun Shores Drive neighborhood running around, Glen the bus driver, and occasional Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks games when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was there. This video makes me want to revisit and find parts that maybe are the same over the years. Thanks!

ive been to flagstaff a couple of times. nice summers, plenty of hiking, free camping on federal lands. even two frisbee golf courses. you get a little extra distance on your drives at 8000 foot elevation. and only 2 hours from warm phoenix area. a bit too crowded for me though.

Actually the neighborhoods look fairly well kept. The lawns are mowed and trees are trimmed up.

Back in the day the " Post office" sign in Commerce said " post office " until this unknown person stole the "S' and it became " Pot office " it remained that way for quite a while ..I kinda remember who did it but I was sworn to secrecy ...I never could get any weed there in spite of the sign altered by this unknown neerdowell...?
