Nice, can you tell me more about the pads and chemicals to use please - no doubt you already have a video on these? Also can I use a multi tool or a drill instead with the required polishing heads?

Now.. I’m gonna ask a very stupid question. Doesn’t the vehicle have to be washed, prior to paint correcting? I see that you sprayed, I’m gonna presume, some quick detailer spray or touch-less wash spray.

Anyone knoe the correct ration to make ipa? What % alcohol do you buy? The 70% or 90% and then add half distilled water?

Let me save you some time. Get a McKillans stubby gun for 50 bucks. Get an Uberflex/Flexzilla hose for 50 bucks. Skip the $40 rubber spray tip... you shouldn't be anywhere close enough to your paint using a pressure washer to "accidentally" hit the car.

I use Meguiars All Wheel Cleaner, let the chemical do all the work and than scrub and rinse

Dryer sheet. Open box. Remove a sheet. Wet it. Wipe it on bug guts. Cheapest box from Walmart works great.

I stack 2 plastic milk crates, put the dirty brushes in the top one, and then rinse them. Works well so I can stand back with the hose/power nozzle and not get that crap all over me and keep the nasty rinse to a confined area.

Ok but do I needed to do it twice using water the second time to remove the cleaner? What do you recommend at the end? I remember my early years cleaning my I-Mark 89’ adding WD-40 to make it shine. Not sure if that still a good thing. 😂

Yvan compare slow speed rotary vs high speed DA. If you compare DA in speed 4 and rotary speed 4, the rotary will cut way faster

@@trianggaindralukmana2184 there are way too many variables. You need the same machines as them, same compounds, same pads, etc. The size of the pad makes a difference also. What he says is he uses a DA for cutting p and a rotary for polishing. No need to say speed this, speed that.

@trianggaindralukmana2184 well, I think only a professional would want s 25mm. I only do my cars, or family and friends, so I wouldn't buy such a thing. I gave my rotary to a friend and I'm happy with my DA. I bought the Milwaukee 15 mm because I already have all the batteries and stuff. It's good enough for me. I also recently bought the 3 inch Mirka because it's really quiet and I can use it late at night without disturbing anyone. Even though Yvan prefers a rotary for the final polish, I'm not going to buy another one. All of these detailers have their own style, but I think Yvan has done a lot of testing and fine tuning to see what works best. For him anyways. I think anyone can get great results with only a rotary or DA.

brother i have a question about my wool pad life during a detail. should i clean and rinse my pad each panel/section or just dry clean it and how many wool pads do you utilize when doing a paint correction. not a foam polish pad question

I use the ryobi 1800/1.2gpm paired with a Toolcy snubby, and 50ft Toolcy flexible-kink free hose and an AstroAi foam cannon. All lesser known, cheaper options on the upgrades, but I swear by this combo. It has served me well for about a year and a half now. I’m not a pro detailer, but do detail as a side hustle so it gets plenty of use/abuse and so far has handled it great. MTM hydro, Mckillans, I’m sure it great too but waaay overpriced.

I bought a rotory because if i wouldnhave used my DA to buff my 37ft fifth wheel it would have taken 1 month😂 the rotary with a wool oad cut through that super thick oxidization 10x faster.
