Once again I post on here the Instructable link doesn't work or maybe you don't read or don't care, don't use links if you aren't going to keep them current.

Great video, thanks! I was building a press and ran into this issue. Saw a bunch of videos showing how to take the jack apart, add pump intake tubing, etc., but my jack is welded so that wasn't any help. I also saw several videos and comments saying the check valves wouldn't work upside down, so I thought I was just SOL until I saw this. Turns out that was total BS (at least in my case, with an 8 ton Pittsburgh/Harbor Freight press). I ended up drilling and tapping my plug hole to 1/8 BSPP and making a reservoir from welded steel that bolts onto the frame of my press. After purging air from the system, it worked perfectly!

There is nothing simple about this project. Beautiful job though. Probably the best I’ve seen done yet.

The dremel is too weak and will burn out. you need to install a motor from a washing machine, or a grinder or drill. It is dangerous to hold with your hands. Workpieces must be secured in a vice; wearing gloves can get your fingers wrapped.

Nice job. I'm curious about the angle grinder belt sander attachment you use to start the video. Please share the brand and supplier you purchased it from. Ken

for larger pipes one could machine 2 solid steel wheels about 50mm wide, connect with a steel rod so they both turn at the same time connect angle grinder holder to this somehow and use a strap to attach it around a pipe using a metering device to set the cut up first would give very straight cut, if the strap is sufficiently tight it should keep the angle all the way around an all-size orbital angle grinder pipe cutter preferably the angle grinders depth of cut to be adjusted with a bolt so one can take careful cut all the way around, circling around and carefully pushing through to avoid wasting angle grinder disc and keeping the first cut in perfect angle, pushing through immediatedly could obscure the cut

When lifting on the side keep your extensions out as far as possible so the jack stands are close to the wheels as possible This will make it more stable and also reduce the risk of body stresses that could leave marks in your roof etc.

No comments how this is very bad for the bearings? Dremel wasn't made for this. It's for small rotary bits! Could've just taken a cheap motor and some bearings.

Nice! How exactly do you adjust the height? Are you using the height adjustment mechanism of the Dremel shaping platform? I always found it kind of flimsy. It's been working well for you?

Thanks for the video. I was trying to figure out how to use this tool as it doesn't come with any instructions. I tried it out with around 6 rivets. Works fine so far. I am getting on in age and no longer have the strength to squeeze that manual pop rivet gun anymore!! 🙂
