Hi! Thanks for your video. How do you know when your headlight covers are past being repaired? My car is 20 years old and the headlight covers look foggy on the inside too (if that makes sense). It doesn't look like it's just on the outside. I just don't want to go and buy all the products you recommend if my covers are just too old. Thankyou!

This guy is an inspiration, but this is dangerous inspiration. 99.9% of us would have broken down crying after the first ten mins of this.

Great video. Realistic and informative. I noticed you use some kind of paint on your calipers. Could you do a video on that? I'd love to add some color. But I'm not sure what will actually work and what will just make a big mess. Thanks

I just got my first car yesterday and the lights are super hazy, to make things worse I had to bring it home after work at night in the rain, so after watching this it looks like I’ve got some shopping to do!

I am chasing a parasitic draw on my sons 2006 F150. All fuses/relays are good. It appears it MAY be the alternator, but it looks newer, so I think there's an underlying issue and the alternator keeps getting replaced - and the amp draw still exists. The truck is new to us, but he's trying to sell it and can't do that until the amp draw is corrected. So I've been scraping the bottom of the internet for good alternator videos. This is a phenomenal video. I dare say the best one I've seen. Editing is SUPER helpful, especially when you have picture in picture views. I will re-watch this a dozen times and likely have what I need. I can clearly see why it has 4.6M views. Thank you sincerely!

This is not a cost effective method anymore. Diesel and oil prices have increased dramatically. Also, it's a good investment to use higher quality oil with high flash point and viscosity index. Castrol is garbage.

Restorations are a huge gamble. You could end up with an easy and relatively inexpensive job, like this one, that could potentially be profitable, or a worthless moneysink. An old 5 series isn't exactly on demand anymore so this was a gamble, but since it was so cheap and in relatively decent shape, i'd say it was worth it.

Thanks for the video. I'm not installing my engine a mechanic friend will be at our house. However I needed to know all the things to purchase aside from the engine (fluids etc). This was SUPER helpful! Now I understand why it's so expensive to do the clutch, A/C and alternator. Thanks for highlighting it might be time to do a radiator flush etc. My friend will be annoyed with me with all my add ons but I'll pay him!

parts are cheap, how about the time, tools you need, skill and space you need for this project. After adding these cost, still profitable?
