That's exactly what I've said in my other videos...this exhaust has a high pitch screech that sounds like a V10 exotic.

Agree, they should make a diffuser similar to the C7

I ended up putting a small piece of double sided tape on the face of the bumper...absolutely zero rattles it's very solid, too solid maybe as I would have a hard time removing it in the future lol

No. An aftermarket exhaust wont void your warranty.

The camera mics don't do any justice to the sound, its way louder and screams more in person. You won't be disappointed

There's a half inch gap, the plastic gets a little warm but will never be damaged. I have no heat issues with this exhaust, even after aggressive driving

They don't have good customer service reviews but they were good with me. I got mine a week after ordering and they replaced one of the clamps for me so I had a very positive experience and this exhaust cant be beat for price, quality and sound.

I considered MBRP but I was worried of drone being a straight pipe design. Like you mentioned the 2M has resonators - these are perforated and that helps reduce drone. 2m may not be as loud as a straight pipe 'track ' exhaust but it's loud as it is - I don't want the car to be any louder than it is. I'm sure MBRP sounds good, plus it's Canadian , ultimately I think it would have been too loud for me and droney.

@@SerhansGarage .. And I can tell you I cam e within an inch of buying 2M myself! I looked long, and longer trying to find the right one, and the battle was between the two. Your 2M sounds very good for sure, and sounds much like mine except I have a bit more volume wide open, and a great bit more on cold starts. The cold starts had me really worried, but so far the neighbors haven't complained, and I never start the car in the early mornings and only drive it every 3 days or so. Drone? ... I don't have any!!! ... nope, I don't have any! All aftermarket, none NPP exhausts have that funky V4 mode sound that no one wants. I almost never allow mine to go into V4 by keeping it in Sport mode or Zmode with Sport settings when at low speed. It wants to to to V4 at 3rd gear while in city streets 20 mph or so, and that's where it sounds funky, but again, I never allow this, or pretty much just hit the M, manual button which shuts off V4 mode entirely at all speeds and gears. But, finally .. anyone who is rocking with their OEM exhaust, .. even the "Performance Exhaust" from the factory are being cheated out of the most fun in having a C8. The optional OEM NPP exhaust simply doesn't measure up as you know. Can't go wrong with either setup here. 👍🏼

@@bezaldo7 I don't know how to answer that. My car never had NPP, and I don't know how important working valves are to you? The startup when cold is somewhat explosive, but it quiets down in about 20 seconds to a real nice lope! ... Just got in driving mine, and I KNOW I made the right choice for my super quiet non NPP car. No neighbors have complained, but I don't start mine everyday, and I never start up before 8:00am. Aftermarket systems with valves cost 3 - $4,000 , and I can't see any justification for this just to have valves working. Simulators for the AFM and NPP valves simply work, and negate the NPP system altogether, ... but just my point of view.

I usually cover the alternator and someti disconnect battery but that wasn't needed on the C8. The alternator is located down low on the engine.

No not at all. That piece just feels a little warm after a long drive, I have no concerns with heat at all

I'm happy to hear that. I too was considering AWE and Paragon but wanted to give 2M a try and no regrets. The only downside to the 2M fabrication exhaust is that you will always want to drive in Track mode and manual! I hardly drove in track or manual before exhaust, now I just want to drive to hear this exhaust. Would love to hear about your buying experience and driving experience when you have it on the road. Loud in the cabin when driving. We're there exhaust gaskets I may have missed or another trick? Don't think it should be as loud as it is.

I didn't realize after purchasing from 2M that they have a titanium version...that would have been nice. No regrets with these though

I'm just testing some mics. I tried Razer, Instamic, and Hohem and didn't have any success with any of then as audio wasn't usable.
