The first time I made it, it worked out so well! It's so delicious and probably my favourite sauce ever. But the second and third time, it separated! I'm going to try again today.

For the person that said it doesn’t work in a Vitamix blender, that’s the only blender we use and it always comes out perfect in it!

Just the video I needed. We want to make shish kebab, but can’t get lamb cubed anywhere. It’s still more work than I want to do, but he made it manageable for me.

The amount of garlic you mention is not accurate, because there exist small and larger cloves which will make a difference in measuring one cup. It is better to say how many ( a number) cloves of garlic to use.

Chef, with all due respect. This is not propper Hummus. Nor proper presentation either. Also you've missed removing the shells which is very imperative to not get gassy

Good video and recipe. Here is a recipe your viewers can copy and print. I took a couple of liberties with the instructions buy I don't think you will disagree. Falafel by Chef Kamal 1 cup chickpeas ½ tsp baking soda 4 cups water 2 Tbsp chopped garlic ¼ cup chopped onion ¼ cup chopped parsley ¼ cup chopped cilantro ¼ cup chopped green scallion Sesame seeds, untoasted, as needed Seasoning mixture 2 Tbsp all purpose flour 1 ½ tsp salt ¾ tsp ground coriander ¼ tsp black pepper ¼ tsp baking soda 1/16 tsp (pinch) cayenne 1. Soak chickpeas with baking soda in water overnight. Rub chickpeas lightly between your palms to loosen skins, which should float to the top and discard skins. Drain chickpeas and dry them on a towel. 2. Add aromatics and pulse everything together in a processor until grainy- just until it holds together. 3. Combine seasoning mixture ingredients in a bowl and add to chickpeas and aromatics 4. Using a falafel mold or about 2 tablespoons of mixture and your hands to shape patties. 5. Sprinkle tops of falafels with sesame seeds and press lightly. 6. Deep fry falafels a few at a time @ 375 F until just browned. 7. Drain on paper towels or a wire rack. 8. Serve with a tahini sauce or yogurt sauce.

Hi! I love this recipe and I already did it 3 successful times. For any reason, it didn't work out today, it turned out very liquid!! I used half the quantity and used sunflower oil for your information. Can I do anything to fix it, it's really too liquid but the combination of garlic+salt+oil+lemon juice tastes fine. Your recommendation please🙏, thank you.

How much oil for one cup garlic
@Newbie4Hire
@Newbie4Hire Жыл бұрын
his recipe is 4 cups, but you can add anything from 1.5 cups to 4 cups, depends how strong you want the garlic taste. You would adjust the amount of lemon based on the amount of oil. So if you used less oil, use less lemon, if you use more oil, use more lemon. But his recipe of 4 cups I think is the ideal strength of garlic. I have made many times with different amount of oil/lemon from 1.5 cups, 3 cups 4 cups. 3 cups or 4 cups I think is the best without too strong of garlic taste. I like to do 1.5 cups garlic, 6 cups oil, 3/4 cup lemon juice, for a huge batch (But it really stretches the limit on the food processor capacity).

Mine separated, but I fixed it by removing sauce from food processor. Added one egg white to processor with quarter cup separated sauce. Then blended till foamy for like a minute. Then slowly added back the rest of sauce while blending.
