You will have to add all the domains to the block list....one by one. Or you can change to a 3rd party DNS on the router and block it via their portal.

I would ask to see the Main Cable duct if it is a main exchange or the gen rooms are impressive!

@@tyson_morris infraco changed the locks on the gen rooms and cable duct. questionable how sub contractors have more access than Telstra's own employees.😂😂

Don't shy away from the challenge mate. Put your hand up for everything, don't worry about the small fails along the way. It is the quickest way to learn and to build confidence in your abilities

Gen 2 seems to have limited timetabling for access, but from your video it looks as if multiple entries can be made for the same device with Gen 3?

Protectli whole or product line is made up of 5+ year old hardware. If you are going to build a firewall - why would you use hardware that is plagued with vulnerabilities (MIMO, Spectra/Meltdown, etc..)? Not sure why you would recommend such old hardware to defend someone's network as a professional. Kind of concerning. Do this - install ipfire on the protecli device. In ipfire there is an option in the UI that shows "hardware vulnerabilties". Also, you can just google the outdated and old chip they use and check out all the vulnerabilties. Chips 2021 or later are preferred, but most of the chips protecli use are 2014-2019 which are crap. When building out security for folks and posting these videos you want to make sure you are looking at the entire package of the device you are recommending.

Hey @@shannynchandler7567, you would have to allow remote access to your modem. Going from memory here... I think it might be under Advanced Settings > Management > Look for anything related to Remote Access. You would then use an IP Address and a port to access it. Eg 0.0.0.0:Port Number Please note that this would allow anyone on the internet to find and try brute force into your network. Make sure you really need the feature and use a strong password.
