Great information! I could ask sooo many follow up questions but off the top of my head would you suggest more or less off contact depending on the durometer? Say for instance I had a simple white print block letter “Happy Birthday”. If I was using a 70/90/70 would I be better to have a bit more off contact with a hard flood and sheer (and perhaps a couple of more strokes to ensure coverage) verses a 60 or 70 durometer would I want a touch less off contact in case the print has a bit too much dragging from the slight flex increase (and maybe less strokes or even dry strokes)?

What about wood vs aluminum squeegees. Are they different or just personal preference. Thanks for the videos too!

I was reading John Magee’s post about peel and this was a perfect demonstration of how to keep air gaps and get proper peel. I have been a victim to the typical 1/16 off contact (or quarters) and not doing the above mentioned techniques on my R250. I would like to see a visual difference between squeegee durometers and angle if you could please sir.

With this bulky design, we used a 156 mesh. If we had more detail we might use a 230

I switched from Canon to an Epson XP-15000 and i haven't had to change! It runs 13x19's without a problem! I Only have to adjust B/W Settings and set to Gloss Photo paper! I can still print in color once I switch Back! Epson XP 15000 about $300, Epson Factory Ink about $ 70, and a roll of 13"x100' roll of Transperancy Film about $45 from Amazon and you're Set! Thank me Later 😂

Is it true ink lines need to be purged prior to switching to all black cartridges?
@Ryonet13 күн бұрын
Do they NEED to be purged.... not 100% necessary, but you will have left over ink in the lines before the 100% black hits the print head. So you will not reap the benefits of an all black system right away. To alleviate this, you can print several sheets of paper with a color design until it all shows up as black ink. But purging will make all this go faster.

Epson printers all the way! I bought one Canon and that thing would not print more than half the time without clogging issues or streaks. Definitely worth the investment to just buy a really good printer. It'll save you headaches and time down the road. Time in printing is crucial

FN Ink on a ROQ allllll day!
@Ryonet20 күн бұрын
Heck yea! What do you like about it?
@sethp564019 күн бұрын
@@Ryonet • Nice and opaque. • Super creamy after mixing it on the RevolvInk Mixer. • Can use a 180 S-Mesh with two hits 70/90/70 and have the perfect underbase. • For a perfect white w/o underbase p/f/p (225S) or dial it back to a 150S and 180S op. • Oh yea and we love the low cure properties of the FN Ink - huge win. • Finally - I cant remember if it was Rutland or Wilflex, you have to watch the stacking of shirts as ghosting can occur as you place each shirt on each other. Another reason why we like FN - don't have to think about that crap. :) All good! We play and have fun with all kinds of inks. Comet is awesome too and we use this more frequently. Thanks again for the vid.
