I would say it depends on how much work you have for it. If you only have a small garden then a electric would probably be ok. But if you have a lot of work for it, then I'd go gasoline.

The convenience plays a big part to be honest, no messing about with fuel and oil, or trying to get the mower started, The machine is so light light to move around too so much easier all round. It's every bit as powerful as my old Harrier 56 which is now redundant since getting the EGO.

Yeah thanks.. I did adjust it afterwards, this was just a first run after servicing the fuel system. Still had a bit of excess fuel in the crankcase as well so needed to clear it first.

@TGMForum manythanks for replying . All sorts . Grass jams the roller . Engine has come loose twice . Bow Squeaks . Grass has got behind under cover so the blade can catch it . Found no bearings for the roller ... so is rough to push.. spoke to hayter and the emailed back says roller can pick up grass if wet . Really ...

Yep, clean carbs make a world of difference and anytime bud. 👍

You might find the choke isn't going on and off properly, that's a common problem with this engine.

Did yours have drive issues, Roller and chain etc?

Sorry missed your question. No the roller seems fine but you wouldn't want to use it in wet conditions it might rip your lawn. But then most people don't cut in the wet. Thanks for watching.

That was a bad leak, and should have really been picked up in the PDI, if they ran it for more than a few seconds it would have started leaking.

Did you try a good battery on your charger, or try your battery on a good charger? The charger in my case was good but the battery was dead. Stuck a good battery in and it charged fine.

Yes they are great little machines. Shame you can't get the rear plastic throwplates for them anymore, that's written off so many really nice machines.

Not sure you can buy the Hayter machines in the US, but they do the Toro Prostripe which is a better version of it, in red instead of green.

@TGMForum ilike Toro but the snapper has a deck which is very thin and made from a poor grade of steel. They are powder coated so the paint peels right off if you get any fiel on it. There's no way it will blow grass in the catcher. I even increased the RPM and use a high lift blade. Increasing the RPM just made it so you have to run behind the mower.

I wish is was, it would sure sound better than this little Briggs engine. ;)
