I have yet to try things like this and I want to but first I need to make my bike capable of lasting this long such as like this video for instance
@jacobo66086 күн бұрын
I like these videos, bro, to be honest, just being out in the mountains or out in the forest or out with the water or some shit just being outside in general enjoying what God has made it for us and not only just that or just enjoying nature itself including riding around on something either you built or bought but regardless, you’re enjoying it and it’s a better experience than a car I can tell you that for sure
@jacobo66086 күн бұрын
And not only that you will learn a lot from working on little bikes like this and be able to go and make a career using this knowledge but putting that aside my friends also tell me to do KZfaq because I know a lot about engines like this and I’m saying I’m that guy because definitely I’m not but I know a little bit and I could tell you this much when you do some upgrades that shit becomes more fun and a lot more cooler
@jacobo66086 күн бұрын
Man, I know a lot about these engines and I could tell you if you just bought it like that it will last you a little bit. You will have to do some maintenance and you will have to do some upgrades if you want. Depending how long that has been running and mileage wise. You might have to do some upgrades soon. But they’re relatively cheap. So do some upgrades and get some really good content with it.

When you buy a tank sealant it should go INSIDE the tank. Putting anything outside of it won't work. It costs the same as a new tank and you will never have a problem again.

Idk if you ended up buying the same style tank but I used extra brackets and nuts so that all the clamping pressure is between the brackets instead of the pressure being from pulling against the studs. Worked great and the tank doesn't get shifted all over the place any more 😊

I recently bought a 4-stroke kit from BikeBerry and will definitely install it into my mountain bike. My mountain bike frame is 22.5 inches top tube, 26.5 inches down tube, and 15.5 inches seat tube. I’ll imagine it will fit but with little to no room to spare.

@grendelsgarage972316 күн бұрын
These tanks suck 😅😅😅 good attempt on repairing it. You will be happyer with a bigger tank. I would recommend removing your fenders and the cain gaurd, though. If one fails and gets sucked into the drive chain or you're wheels, it will throw you off the bike and could really hurt you. Overall, the bike looks solid 👌 😎 💯 🎉🎉🎉

Yea i've been reading about that, i was also reading that the chain snaps off and locks the rear wheel. I'm going to remove the chain guard for now and see what i can do about the bike chain.

Dig the video! I definitely would have tried JB weld instead of flex seal just because of the chemical resistance, just make sure the surface is sanded down to the bare metal and cleaned off with break cleaner or something similar! On my install video on my channel I show a trick to attach your gas tank in a way that won’t rip the studs off and you can tighten it a lot more so it doesn’t rotate! Hope this helps!

Read up on having a reverse pedal brake and having a engine on the bike. From what I remember folks that do a motorized cruiser have to secure the rear wheel braking mechanism, that’s why you can’t pedal backwards and when you stopped it felt different again after starting.
@sasquatch_886Ай бұрын
Do not put a coaster brake on your motorized bicycle. That's straight junk that will break and damage other parts, it's made for cheap cruiser bicycles in the city. Not for motorized bicycles

You need to change the fuel line. It's super easy, leaks like that are preventable but not the end of the world on a bike like that. Id change all of the hardware, new bolts and lines, might cost $10-15, maybe more. If ya want to go hard get some degreaser, clear air filter, remove the carburetor and clean, soak and scrub components. edit: It will go faster and be less likely to break down in the middle of nowhere
@rubensaucedo454Ай бұрын
I will look into it, thank you for your feedback. Do you recommend applying loctite to all the hardware? Im going to go ahead and completely replace the fuel tank, after replacing it if i still see a leak i will then get new lines and then hopefully get the bike cleaned up and have it running good.
