Hi again! This was quite cool to listen to! Havn't really listened to Suicide Silence that much (I often find myself listening to christian metal more than "secular" metal). But I like what I heard here! Keep up the heavy metal madness:)
@justinnaramor60503 жыл бұрын
Hello Jim! This comment might possibly get a little long, so please bear with me here: My name is Justin and I'm a metal head... just like you:). I watched that video of you performing at a talent show in 2014, and also a video of the talent show from 2013. That's what made me want to check out your channel more, especially because I like the same kind of music! I'd also like to add that I am visually impaired, so I unfortunately am not able to see the video with my eyes. But as far as the music... jeez! That sounds nuts and wild and awesome! I'm not a fan of the occasional F word, although to be honest I don't really let that bother me too much; it's not something I choose to make a big deal over if you know what I mean. In case you maybe aren't already aware, there's also such a thing as Christian heavy metal music. I love heavy metal, but I'm also a christian. So why not combine the two? :) If you like super heavy metal music and if you're at all interested in being introduced to christian metal, check out a band called Broken Flesh. One of my favorite songs from them is called "Acrid Stench" (and I hope I spelled that correctly:)). It is one of the heaviest songs I have ever heard, especially when you consider that it's christian! Perhaps it could be interesting to hear your reaction to this song, if your interested that is. I have a feeling you might like it, even if you're not particularly a christian. I think it's an awesome song musically and I really like the vocals and also the lyrics. Anyways, feel free to reply to me whenever you've got the time/or chance to do so. Take care of yourself and have a nice day!

Hey man, it’s nice to hear from you! I’ll have to check that band out one day, I’ve heard the name but never listened to them. I’m aware of Christian Metal, I like a handful of bands of that label, even though I don’t consider myself a Christian or religious in general. Thank you for the support and checking out my channel. I’m not as active on it anymore these days as I used to be. If you haven’t heard already, I’m in a band called Gravebirth. We released our first official EP back in May, it’d be cool if you’d check us out. Maybe if this pandemic ever calms down, you could see us live someday. Take care of yourself and stay healthy.

@@JimMajuri I may have to check out Gravebirth! Thanks for that suggestion. Yeah, this pandemic has really changed things... in some good ways and some bad ways. They're talking about vaccines on the news, so we'll have to see how that goes. But for now we'll have to be patient. Out of curiocity, what other genres of music do you like becides metal, if anything? For me, my taste in music is diverse. One moment I could be listening to the heaviest of heavy music and just have fun and go crazy. Then the next moment I'll calm it down and listen to some kind of slow, peaceful and beautiful music. I like a lot of things that just sound very pretty to me. I often listen to child singers on KZfaq... a lot of those sound very pretty. I also like electronic dance music (you know, techno/dubstep/trance music/whatever. Also I appreciate that you replied so soon! I've written comments to some youtubers and sometimes they don't reply so soon. I've got some I'd still like to hear back from (or should I say, "read" back from:)
@JimMajuri3 жыл бұрын
@@justinnaramor6050 My taste is diverse as well. Heavy music in general is my default genre, but I also like electronic music and instrumental ambient stuff. If you want to hear (in my opinion) the best ambient artist in the scene, listen to Tycho. Specifically his albums Simulcast, Dive, and Past Is Prologue. Words cannot describe how I feel about his music. If you’d like to chat more, add my personal Facebook if you have an account.

@@JimMajuri Nice! Not much of a facebook user at the moment (I don't even have an account) but thanks for that suggestion anyway! By the way, in case you didn't already know it, I listened to your reaction of "Undefeated" by Carbine and left a comment. The part where he said "what the fuck is up you stupid fucking bitch" (or something like that) honestly gave me a good laugh! That's like one of the outright silliest things I've ever heard in a heavy metal song!
