Mega growth and madiana leave in conditioner did me shage, my hair was always dry and breaking. I have low porosity hair like you so getting affordable products that my likes is hard I have started making my own leave in conditioner and so far so good no more dry hair and now more breakage

I also hate having to wet or dampen my hair to moisturize, lol. I wish the moisturizing products, leave-in, cremes etc.. by themselves were enough without having to put additional water or liquid to my hair first.

I like the look with the beads, but tight rubber bands must be so damaging for natural hair ends, including the take-down process.

@@zooz2675Thank you. And nah,my ends are healthy. I've been wearing them for 6 weeks. Ends moisturized, rubber bands lubricated to reduce surface friction Not like I'm a fan of rubber bands,but I wear the braids to work,this is the only way I can make it look presentable,since my length is in its awkward stage. But I understand your concern and I'm slightly concerned as well. Thank you

HI YOU WOULD SEE MORE LENGTH RETENTION IF YOU LEFT YOUR MINI BRAIDS IN FOR 3-4 MONTHS. PLACE STRAIN ALOE GEL ON YOUR HAIR EVERY 3 DAYS ON YOUR HAIR ALSO PLACE 7-9 CLOVE BUDS IN YOUR ALOE VERA GEL.

Your hair looks really pretty. Amazing video. Loved how you went straight to the point and I agree with everything you’ve said concerning mini braids. I currently have mini braids installed in. It’s been 3 weeks now and I can clearly see the new growth. I wash once a week, with the mini braids installed. I plan to redo them after 3months instead of taking them all down and reinstalling

Thank you for sharing oo. I currently have this mega growth leave in conditioner and I noticed dryness and constant breakage. It is important to note that protein can range from strong (Collagen,keratin) to moderate (Wheat/soy protein). Some protein can be moisturizing,but protein is still protein and it is crucial to use in moderation.

Not all proteins are for strengthing purpose,some aid in conditioning and moisture retention because they act like flim forming humectants thats why they are included in most hair products
@natura__essie
@natura__essie 13 күн бұрын
Yes, some proteins are mild and can easily help with moisture retention. But, we’re not going to completely rule out that protein is protein. Too much protein regardless of the type, can still wreak havoc to your natural hair if you’re not careful. This product contains 4 protein or probably more. For instance, soy protein and wheat protein can be rated as mild-strength protein. If not used in moderation, can lead to breakage. This particular leave in conditioner is most suitable for damaged, colored or chemically treated hair and also those with high porosity. Or those suffering from moisture imbalance.

it’s not about the water, but the amount of protein in it. 😊 But I’m glad your hair likes it.

If your hair is chemically treated (relaxed, dyed, texturised etc) you automatically have high porosity hair
@natura__essie
@natura__essie 13 күн бұрын
Well yes, most hair color can break the protein bond in the hair and it can also create some gaps in the hair’s cuticle. Oh,and I can't just say high porosity and automatically expect everyone to understand it also includes chemically treated hair 👍🏾
