In a 125 Gallon tank , would you dare put in the most least aggressive Mbuna cichlid?
@leeholdcroft600623 күн бұрын
Cracking fish when bigger , got a question for you cause you obviously know your stuff on cichlids , I have 6-7 inch jack dempsey had about a year and half, it not eaten for over 2 weeks I’ve tried Esha hexamita Esha ndx and given Epsom salt baths , fish looks fine apart from not eating and shying away from other fish when they eat , tried loads of different food booodworm cichlid pellets flake and fluval bug bites , sorry bother you , any ideas is this something you’ve seen before ?
@BillsCichlidRoom23 күн бұрын
Thanks Lee, I’ve seen it with timid fish. With adult fish they don’t eat as much when they have stopped growing or no breeding but 2 weeks does sound a lot. I only feed my adults 3-4 times a week.

Quite a lot of fish in this tank I.didn't know there is mouthbreeding Severum.
@BillsCichlidRoomАй бұрын
There are a lot of fish, they will need spreading around other tanks at some stage. I have done a species profile on the ‘mouthbrooding severum - apparently they were the first to be discovered, but nobody went back to the original location for many years, until they were re- discovered and found to be mouthbrooders.

It was being attacked in an assorted Cichlid tank. but mine has very light gray stripes, but it has blue eyes.? 😄 I don’t even know the picture looks like my fish, but the fish in the video maybe not ugh.
