Yes, the visual aesthetics of the OVA series are great, starting with Shuukou Murase's designs (in my opinion some of the best in the franchise)

no samurai champloo
@AnotherSakuga2 ай бұрын
I'm not going to lie, I left out Hori's work in Samurai Champloo because it is too popular but at the same time does not represent the movement that the animator has characterized as his style. Maybe I can consider it as something interesting to see in the sense that it was Hori's early work, but the intention that I wanted to represent was different

I was debating whether to put Wolfwood's scene or Vash's scene in the movie, but since Wolfwood is my favorite Trigun character and Vash's scene will probably be featured by other people, I'm confident my decision was the right one:D

Thanks! I tried my best to compile the beauty of monster animation from a taste for what Mamoru Hosoda did with Digimon Adventure Gekijouban
Я из России и могу сказать , что у нас есть уроки обращения с оружием, но даже я которая держала ещё в школе настоящее ружье в руках, понимаю как трудно показать работу с ружьём людям которые даже его в живую ни разу не видели 👍

I love the animated creatures in Ghibli movies, they feel incredibly real despite the extravagant designs
@AnotherSakuga3 ай бұрын
That is the result of working at Ghibli since they are very strict (Miyazaki), but the fundamentals of animation are so well taken care of that surely any animator could learn a lot. I like the illusion of life of the studio artists' creatures, since they present movements that, although subtle, add a lot to making them more expressive. The three-dimensional volume and flow of smooth movement also helps reinforce the feeling.

Considering Okiura the best japanese character animator is very accurate
@AnotherSakuga3 ай бұрын
It is natural, since his participation in Akira under the supervision of Takashi Nakamura, Okiura has gradually become one of the greatest representatives of realistic animation in character acting. It has even been mentioned that he never wanted to change his focus, but rather had the purpose of perfecting himself in character animation, which he achieved many years ago.

The scene of Simon fighting the Anti Spiral with blows must be one of the most aggressive and expressive I have seen

I have the same opinion. Sushio managed to stand out a lot with his work, greatly improving the ending of Gurren Lagann I would like to see him doing similar sequences, but in recent years he hasn't been as active as before

Kenichi Yoshida must be one of the animators who best represents vehicles in traditional animation
@AnotherSakuga3 ай бұрын
He is highly recognized for this as he represents the vehicles with impressive care and delicacy while imbuing them with everything that distinguishes the Ghibli-Telecom animators

Ikarashi quickly became one of Trigger's flagship animators, I hope to see him in important production positions in the future
@AnotherSakuga3 ай бұрын
Yes, in recent years he has been one of Trigger's most prominent artists, having some of the most visually creative episodes of the studio's productions. Ichigo Kanno seems to be on a similar path
@erikchainsard5 ай бұрын
It is understandable that he is recognized as "the perfect animator", just by looking at his scenes everyone realizes that there is something beyond, even without having technical knowledge about animation
@AnotherSakuga3 ай бұрын
Inoue has reached a level that is too high even for Japanese standards, it is like watching the work of James Baxter or Milt Kahl: You simply notice the illusion of life in such a brilliant way that it cannot be ignored, with movements that may seem simple at first glance but that if analyzed are very complex and perfect. His timing is so good that he can achieve an effect similar to Full Animation with animation done in 2s or 3s, which is something very rare to see
