Found this game during the lock-down years and think it's been 1600 hours well spent since. I truly think though, that a big issue of new players being confused and 'noobing' up the teams with blueberries can be resolved in an organic way. Being "class-locks". Lvl 1-4 Rifleman only (let them learn) Lvl 5-9 Medic and support (let them learn to be useful) Lvl 10-14 Automatic rifle, engineer, tank crew (let them expand). Lvl 15-19 Assault, sniper (let them refine and practice) Lvl 20-39 MG, AT (Let them specialise) Lvl 40-59 Officer (time to learn to lead) Lvl 60+ Commander. By dripping in the roles, the new players have time to really understand them one at a time, and get better in a natural evolution (promotion). They will finally get to 'engineer' and really want to find out what it's like, etc. Also currently your XP level is utterly irrelevant, so that's something.

You still have a life for the most part being on active duty. Once work is done for the day if your not deployed or in the field you have free time lol

I bet it's online PvP. Ugh. I would like a singleplayer game on the Vietnam war. There is games like Vietcong etc but I have already played them. Online games against other players aren't atmospheric to me...

It is a lot more of a deliberate game, HLL is much more free flowing and more on the arcade side. This is more on the simulation side so take it slow, learn the logistics and the gun play has its own feel

Game is super accurate with firearms. Scope sits higher than your barrel so you were shooting the window frame. This game is so good!

I got into both HLL and PS in mid 2021 and honestly loved the idea of both games but HLL had a much bigger player base and was going in a good direction whereas PS was just stuck and sitting there ideally. Now it’s the other way round.
