I'm not interested in any of the sets releasing exclusive minifigs or not. I didn't like Ahsoka so i just don't care about it and otherwise they are all WAY too expensive.

These days you never ever buy Lego StarWars sets without at least 30% discount. And even then it’s a stupid price. I am 100% sure that Lego decides their price tags with that in mind. So the big losers here are the retailers. And the winner is…

i got the mos eisley cantina set in january for my 23rd b-day. 6 months layer its still not done because im waiting on 1 stinking piece to come in. for anyone who does get the set, hope you get luckier than i did with parts being organized my personal favorite for the og being remade would have to be cloud city. i agree too many sets for hoth

A problem that I think more people than just me have is some of these sets come out for way too much money with only one or two things that normal Lego collectors want a minifigure there or a ship here but we don't want to justify spending that much money for something we don't truly fully want, I want the cal kestis, I don't want the $330 Star Destroyer, it just doesn't intrest me enough to justify that price. And scalpers are going to jack up that cal minifig price to the roof on bricklink im %100 sure of it. Lego has gone competitive it's no longer attainable for the casual enjoyer....

I really would love for a remade Maz Kanata's Castle. I missed out on that set and it looked amazing. And getting a larger interior along with perhaps new figures of Sidon Ithano and First Mate Quiggold would be great to have to recreate that scene with Finn and them. A build for Maz's red droid would also be great. I also want a remade First Order TIE Fighter with Finn and Poe. They could include a side build for the TIE Fighter hangar, which would be awesome as I loved the escape sequence. I also want a new Resistance X-Wing in the Blue and White or Poe's Black Leader X-Wing. Maybe a pair of them to go alongside Maz's Castle to recreate the awesome battle scene on the lake. I'd also love a Diorama of the duel on Starkiller Base, Snoke's Throne Room, or a new Ahch-To set with the caretakers and the Thala-Sirens. I also would love a Microfighter 2-Pack of General Grievous's Wheel Bike and Boga, the lizard creature Obi-Wan rides. It'd be perfect to recreate that chase scene for a cheap price. That or a Diorama of the fight between Mace Windu and Darth Sidious. And finally, a new Cloud City set, bit one that's not super expensive. Maybe one that combines the Carbon Freezing Chamber with the Weather Vane where Luke and Darth Vader fight.

The Lego Death Star was 399.99 USD back in 2018, it had 23 Minifigures and 3,803 pieces. The Lego Barad-Dur set is 499.99 USD for 2024 with 5,471 pieces and 10 minifigures. It is worth more by parts in volume and with inflation adjusted prices. It’s an accurate sale that reflects its scale and times. If it’s so important, save for it, don’t complain. If Lego marketing believes that these sets are too high priced, they won’t lower the prices, they’ll stop producing good quality sets, then no one is happy. I love this set and it’s worth saving up for if you are a fan, but complaining about prices is a personal issue, not a Lego one.

Hey, i've gotten into LEGOs recently, even got myself couple of botanic/insects sets for my summer house, but I keep asking myself, why are LEGO minifigures so valuable? Everytime i see review of any set, be it a huge castle or whatever, a great deal of attention is given to minifigures, and whether there is enough of "worth" in minifigures for a set price. Whats that all about? I understand that there is a market for old/rare minifigures, but what does it matter for a adult LEGO fan if he gets 3 orcs or 7 of them in a Barad-Dur set? Please explain someone.

This is a perfect example of a skippable set. You are paying 50 dollars (US) for basically a few figures, their accessories and a pair of wargs, all the other parts are perfectly cheap on the secondary market, the most expensive being the bamboo plant part on the ground for 11-13ct per piece. Don't get me wrong, it is nice to have a large tree, especially the feature of it being able to rotate is awesome, but this (like nearly all of the Lord of the Rings sets) isn't anywhere close to 50 dollars of value. I don't believe this itsn't exactly a very intriquing build either, but I might be wrong about this, as I haven't experienced it. So many of these older sets are great to have, but they need to be on a discount for them to be really worth it. The wargs are probably the main reason you'd buy this, they look great, even as just generic fantasy creatures. Is it just me or are the Hobbit sets worse than the Lord of the Rings sets overall? It could be my bias about the movies negatively affecting my view. Lastly, it is shocking to see what the earthquakes have done to your lego. If lego, which is as indestructible as it comes, can be damaged by that, I wouldn't want to know what happened to your house. Thanks for showing this off and sorry for being a bit of a negative nancy about price, it seems unavoidable when talking about LOTR and the Hobbit Lego. :S

This is a potentially great title. I do want to say this is not exactly my cup of tea, but I am interested in the potential for more Lego Horizon Zero Dawn sets. That first and only set looks awesome and if they can make a few more that are staples from the game, I would certainly love that. As someone that has bought HZD about 5 years later for dirt cheap, I am for sure only moderately interested in the game. I haven't even found the time yet to start playing. For a single player game, I'd much rather spend it on something that requires a bit of action, thought and/or strategy, instead of a game relying on the story mainly. The gameplay of these titles has always held me back and when the devs started to put woke ideas into the followup title, making Aloy less attractive on purpose, I kinda didn't want anything to do with it anymore. Considering Hannah Hoekstra, the woman who the in-game character is modeled after is a beautiful woman, even better looking than the original Aloy, this is just absurd. What are we doing here, Guerilla games? Oh well, the in-game robot dinosaurs sure look awesome, so more of that is certainly nice.
