I have one and the only ammo it didn't like was 40 grain Herters. I stick to CCI minimags for target and CCI Stingers if I'm going to carry it anywhere, though all the testing I've seen online says Federal Punch is the winner between the two, its just expensive!

I have two of these - one stainless steel, the other black barrel - both 20 inch barrels, if that makes a difference. I shoot nothing but 38 special through because it's cheaper. I have no problems at all with loading and feeding.

The words "reliability" and "Taurus" should never be used in the same sentence. Comparing a Taurus to a Glock is like comparing a clown car to a Corvette.

I’ve had no issues with two of these series of Taurus pistol, or my Taurus 1911 or the 605 revolver and I have put many rounds thru each of them. That’s only me though thanks for watching and I would also say the Glock is clearly better feeling pistol though twice as expensive also.

@@Lake_City_Defensive_Training That is totally true, however if you have a $230 budget for a pistol I wouldn’t mind spending that on a Taurus G2 or G3 at all, they just work great. If I was planning on putting 30K rounds thru a firearm then I would get the $600 pistol but less than 5% of the people that buy these types of pistols put a lot of rounds thru them.

Never ceases to amaze me when people say the .22 isn’t good for self defense. It’s the macho chest puffers that have to be able to say they have 9mm or above so that they can be “tacticool”. Getting shot with 8 rounds of .22 accurately in quick succession is gonna be a bad day for anyone. It’s basically like getting stabbed with an ice pick 8 times.

@@gatorunleashed275you know, it’s kinda crazy how things such as recoil, noise, muzzle blast, etc; is starting to really affect me the older I get. I’m 39 years old and took my 9mm to shoot in an indoor range recently and those little things just affect me a lot more than when I was in my 20’s. Now plug in the stress you’re under in an actual defensive shooting scenario and nobody can tell me those things aren’t going to affect performance and accuracy. I’d rather have the .22lr I can shoot all day long for cheap and not feel beat up after a range day. Low noise, low recoil, low muzzle blast, etc; are all positives both on the range and in a defensive scenario.

I grabbed one last year and its been a great little gun. Feels good in the hand, and reliably shoots. I'll have to get the red dot slide and check it out. For the money, its definitely a "grab one if you can find one". Also, Keltec sells a holster specific to the P17, if you're looking.

That is a really nice 👍🏼 looking bike! I’m going to look into a 2023’Honda Fury in 2 days. I have been doing a lot of research 🔬 on the Fury and a lot of people really enjoy them. I am looking 👀 at dependability, and fun to drive . Honda’s reputation is dependability first and foremost, Honda just makes products that last.

@@gatorunleashed275I ended up buying a 2022 Honda Fury , it is brand new. Even in 2024 that 2022 just sat there, never been owned only taken on one test drive. I guess nobody like the yellow ‘ black color . I like it a lot. I am a Wolverines fan & the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie 🎥 has Wolverine back in his tradition yellow uniform like the old cartoon & comics. I want to pay someone to paint the Wolverine character on my Fury . I’m a big guy and I don’t think the factory seat 💺 will last in comfort for me, I am sure after awhile I’ll have to get a bigger seat with more cushion. You got the same seat?

Good 22 ammo makes a big difference. As well as keeping your firearm clean and lubed. TX22 is just fun to shoot and practice with at the range.

Has anyone had problems with 357 loads swelling up in the cylinders? First time I went to the range,I shot 38s,then shot a few 357s.The cylinder locked up on the gun,finally got it opened,it looked like the 357 casings sw😅elled up.maybe it was the amo I was using. Otherwise love the gun.
