how exciting to find this video. I've made several cute pieces of clothing from some of your patterns, & i've NEVER been a sewer, but I find your patterns to be so easy, that even I can do it. I watched both videos of the thrift store finds & what you made on this video. you guys have made a huge diff for me in finding my prop outfits for my newborns. So happy I found you. Thanks !!!

Is the Lucy romper the same idea with the waist band?

The Lucy Romper does not have a waistband. It just has a drawstring around the top.

Sure, it would be much more cumbersome, but you could.

Can I use non stretch fabric with this pattern or will the pants be too small?

You can, but you would want to add about a 1/2" to width of the pattern and probably at the waist as well just to give it more room. Stretch fabric is Ideal! Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions!
