Who has the 2004 battle where bro from VSU played the Tuba and made ir sound like a cello on the sweet dreams fanfare

VSU sounded sloppy trying to over compensate. Too much splat. NSU took this one. In isolation the few that went to the basement where a tuba should be, outperformed VSU. VSU was boxy in parts. Paul Adams would have chewed VSU out for that. Bodacious over Horse Power. With all the numbers they didn’t over play because they didn’t have to.

I see many here saying vsu had it? I guess that fell on deaf ears that don't understand acoustics and the science around low frequencies...anyway NSU all day

I spoke my piece on it and that's final just because blowing some notes out and they sound bad does not make it good playing if you have an ear then you can tell when something is off. Like I said quality over quantity and if you're going say a word at least spell it correctly last time I checked it was spelled P-R-E-C-I-S-E and not P-E-R-C-I-S-E. You really find out how smart someone is when they speak. *SMH*

Horsepower handles Bodacious every year in my opinion. Horsepower can match up well with any sousaphone section in the country.

VSU was Over Blowing and out of tune.. without their soloist they sound like a pretty good highschool.

vsu sounded a lil rough in a few spots but i still got respect 4 em cuz thts a biggas size diff;; overall they did gudd;; like like they shyt alot;; shyt was sick;; they killed that r.kelly though!!!! nsu came hella hard;; i like that 1st fanfare;; sounded mean but sweet at tha same time;; end cords was beast like hell!!!
