Being able to hold a tune doesnt make her a ''singer'' but she never claimed to be - shes a pop artist. And that means singing is just one element of the whole machine. I respect her for at least not miming here and giving a live ballad a go.

Awww this was massive. She was and still is a brilliant singing talent. It had everything to do with her being classed as a child and not as an adult. If they had kept her on this would have caused MASSIVE implications for the show. But, it was a stepping stone, no matter how hard or humiliating, for the beautiful Nadine. ❤️

I feel like it might’ve helped. If she remembered the year she had given, then it would be a bit more obvious that it’s her actual birthday. Since she forgot the year she gave, it made it seem like the year she gave couldn’t have been her real birthday, since she should remember that even if she lied.

I’m not Nadine’s biggest fan (her fans who act like Cheryl Tweedy is the Wicked Witch of the West are to blame for that) but some of the comments I’ve seen over this are ridiculous. Yeah OK, Nadine lied about her age…guess what, people tell lies sometimes. And she did it in sheer determination to achieve her dream. Been plenty of starry eyed teenagers who’ve done daft things to benefit themselves. Nothing new. And let’s be honest, if we’re talking about questionable morals here, Cheryl whacking a toilet attendant in the eye is a bit more serious.

@RoLee705 her birthday is 15th June 1985 so in the UK we say dates DD/MM rather than MM/DD so she keeps saying 15th [day] of the 06th [month] is her birthday. But she lied about the year she was born because she was only 16 and she needed to be 18 to be in the competition

Apart from the sound which is hard to record live undistorted, camera is bad. She's got legs, but you never see them.

Try holding a camera zoomed in with booming bass, it’s very hard to keep the camera on Sarah as she was moving about the stage so much.

@@jpptubie that might be, but to me it looks like you zoomed in, and holding camera zoomed out gives a more steady picture and is easyer to follow after all, and hand holding tremor/shaking has less negative effect. At least some more scnes could have been from head to toe ;-)
