Where do you go to college? I am looking for colleges to go for being a veteran
@Mushroom_dust5 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing I have been contemplateing vet school as I finish my undergrad. Having to preform euthinasia is whats stopping me. It goes again so many of my personal beliefs and messes with my role in nature. How does one find the positive in doing this? Even human doctors don't do this so I feel in a way they don't have to live with that guilt. I struggle a lot with it.

@@yourvetamanda I can dm you on Instagram if I have any questions in the future but this time, I’ll just ask them here if that’s okay! So I was wondering if it’s possible to enter vet school with little mathematical knowledge? Like, what are the things you should have a decent understanding on beforehand?
@yourvetamanda21 күн бұрын
@@empresseternity1 for Canadian/US vet schools there are certain prerequisite courses you need to apply to vet school. One of those courses is a statistics course so some level of math there! Also I found some of my sciences courses also had basic math in them! You don’t need to be fantastic at math but you definitely need a baseline!

I have a question, I’m still a teen but wanting to be a veterinarian when I’m older and I am nervous so that’s why I’m here lol. I’m wondering, will I be able to get home from being a vet at like 3-4? Because all of the vet videos I have seen talk about getting home at 8-9PM and I’m wanting to have kids and have time for them and have time for myself. Are we able to choose when we want to get home at?

@dougd27232 ай бұрын
Handsome fella, that Link is. I just had my Emmy in for a ovary sparing spay (OSS); it took a lot of research but that seemed like the only healthy choice for a female golden. Did they teach this in vet school? There are a lot of benefits from an OSS over a spay.

ACOTAR is good, but the best fantasy series from Sarah J. Maas is Throne of Glass, the first few books take a little bit to pick up speed, but after the first 2/3 it's insanely good ^_^ Also is Iron Flame as good as Fourth Wing?

Seeing you go through what we all go through as new grad and younger vets, just really helps with allowing myself more grace for not knowing everything ^_^

@yourvetamanda2 ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks for watching! To become a vet you need to complete 3-4 years of an undergrad degree and then 4 years of vet school! You can do surgery once you graduate as a vet! If you want to be a veterinary specialist in surgery then you have to do an additional 4 years of training once you’re done vet school! Hope that helps ☺️

My father tells me I should since I’m really good with animals and that I’m smart so I’ll have a high chance, but idk it has good pay but 8 years of college seems uneasy to me, if I do it I’ll start my own business like my dads friend who is a multi millionaire, and I’ll be 26 when I graduate, I’m currently a 14 year old honors student and I’m struggling with my future since I always think about it

Live plants are definitely the move, keep the water clean, grow nicely. The BIG thing about Java ferns is to not plant the roots in the gravel, their roots need to be exposed. I’d recommend rubber banding them to a rock, or use some super glue and glue it to a rock or piece of decor so it doesn’t float to the top. Apart from that, it will be so easy to grow

great video! I got into keeping fish a while ago so I was really surprised to see you set up a fish tank! The tank is super cute & I might recommend looking into ghost feeding, and maybe recommend a short-finned betta (since they tend to live longer) but that's totally up to you!
@yourvetamanda3 ай бұрын
That’s awesome!!! What’s ghost feeding?! Definitely interested in hearing more!
@lemonlizard13 ай бұрын
@@yourvetamanda ghost feeding is just feeding the tank without the fish so that bacteria has time to develop. When you cycle your tank, you do it to build up a colony of bacteria that remove toxic compounds fish naturally release. But the bacteria need food to develop a colony. If the bacteria don't have any food then the tank doesn't cycle. Basically, ghost feeding is feeding the tank every few days for a few weeks so that your tank is really well cycled by the time you get the fish. Just a small sprinkle once every few days works great. Good luck!
