Why do some people say you have to drive for awhile to feel a difference with throttle body swap

Good review & great Nissan.

I remember driving my Z one morning not longer after I first bought it and thinking it would be a good idea to take the TC off and drop from 5th into 3rd around 4,000 rpm. The rear tires squealed at 60 mph I was into triple digits before I knew what hit me. Little incidents like that will make you respect the power of the machine you're operating. The Syncro rev system is excellent and makes driving the car an absolute blast.

I'm thinking about purchasing one identical to this one with 195,000 miles but in pristine shape from top to bottom. I've always been a gm fan, never owned anything else and I personally don't know anyone that's owned one of these things so should I be worried about the current mileage and dependability?

The only thing is to put an aftermarket Exhaust manifold because the original ones are known for cracking which means that the engine sucks up bits from the catalytic converter and goes into the engine which ruins the engine. Also check for fuel pressure. If the car is running on low fuel pressure than replace the fuel pump before the catalytic converters get damaged. If you don't replace the fuel pump you will need new catalytic converters. You will know of there is low fuel pressure if the engine is feeling underpowered. Other than that these cars will last a long time.

“Won’t let you go to first” You were at like 5k rpm in second, if you went to first you would have overrevved the shit out of it. He also missed 3-4th which is straight down. The guy is a twat.

I bought a 2011 Nissan Versa s Hatchback with 117000 miles automatic. One owner vehicle. It came with new tires and new brakes all around. It's the best used car I've ever purchased. I absolutely love this little thing. I call it my go-kart.. 🤣🤣🤣

Just get a good aftermarket exhaust manifold on because the stock ones can crack which leads to the engine sucking up bits of the catalytic converters into the engine which ruins the engine and then you will need a new engine. If you get an aftermarket one that won't happen. Also check the fuel pressure of its to low than you need to replace the fuel pump

I just bought a 2019 370Z sport coupe with SRM and it's an interesting feature. I've been driving manual shift cars for almost 50 years and have developed a pretty good heel/toe rev matching technique but I do like using this feature, mainly because it reduces driveline shock.

Just bought this car and even though its 8 years old it is an amazing ride. I love it!! I still feel like it is relevant to today's cars. The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to play my phone's audio through the stereo. I was sure there was a way to do it? The stereo sounds amazing and you can tell BOSE is behind it.

may take some time for the ecm to adjust for the new tb since the engine is getting more air. until you work on the cam and heads to get better flow you wont see alot of hp gains from a bigger tb.

Be interesting to see what a tune would add. I own a dyno (motorcycle) and there hasn't been a single Harley I didn't get at least 10% more out of with a good tune. ESPECIALLY in the lower numbers where you most always drive. Still impressive results

+DanK.98 It's a V8! Changing it's oil to a better quality alone would produce more HP and Torque then that TB, by a lot! He had his reason for it.. Who cares he's running his stock plastic intake pulling 210°F air before atomisation... Not me.. I'm just saying, A.) You are a clown and B.) I could make more HP/TQ then that titan has with 1/4 the money. Hopefully one day, you'll realize before your time is up, that you lack the etiquette that could have spared you from the likely avoidable Darwin Award you so desire.
