A fantastic piece of work! Did "mad mike" have anything to do with the concept?

Hi , how we can use light lamp in pressure vessels ?

The work is really amazing, it would be even better if we can use our flange products.

In fact this is not a pressure vessel at all. 10 Bar is not a big pressure. It is just a vessel. With all the pressure tests and RTG/Ultrasonic testing that would not take that amount of time but far more, especially when You would count welding sheets above 10 mm with MIG/MAG.

I'd like to see a more detailed video of how you make these, especially the welding part!

How much does this cost like a range and estimate?

It's fantastic! Congratulations! Respect for engineers! I have a few questions: 1. what is the wall thickness of the main cylinder? 2. Are the bottoms of the cylinder and the central cylinder made separately? They are in different colors in the video... 3.And through which pipe do you load the water? 4. If you make a cylinder from 4130 stainless steel, and electrochemically coated with nickel from the inside, would it be cheaper than 316L steel? 5. The mass flow rate, based on the active engine running time of 3.5 seconds, (if you watch the motorcycle start video), is 50 liters cylinder volume / 3.5 seconds = 14.8 liters per second, right? The average impulse of water vapor at 250 degrees Celsius = 50 seconds. Average thrust = 14.8 x 50 = 740 kg, or 1629 pounds? Or did you fill the balloon at 80% of the volume? Thank you so much for the video, and the work done, very, very cool!!!

Where was the inspector? You must have an ASME inspector watching the welders during the construction of a pressure vessel

Hi, please note this is just a small sample of clips from the production, this project wasn't to an ASME Design code so didn't require inspectors to witness the welding, see the following link for more details on this project. www.pressure-vessels.co.uk/projects/28500-litre-surge-vessel-for-uk-water-industry/ We do manufacture to ASME with U designator but they only witness certain stages of production. we generally cut these parts out of the time lapses. Thanks,

Wow am I the first like??!! Amazing welds and machining. Very curious about the steering; was it pivoting right at the axle? Thanks.

A fine piece of engineering! Will there be some field performance (like drag strip testing?) any time soon?
