Do you think it makes sense to pick a stronger servo, like the 25G?
@kingmal528423 күн бұрын
It depends on your trucks weight and the terrain. More Power isn't always better. That's how you break stuff (stripped gears, overworked esc etc). I would suggest matching the power with the demands your truck will face.

Great video, I'm waiting for my MN82 to arrive and start tweaking. Whats the model of the tires/rims ?
@GuitarsNAmmo24 күн бұрын
What transmitter is that? Spektrum? I have the same Goolrc motor and ESC combo. You can set it up to crawl you just have to play with the minimum throttle power settings.
@kingmal528423 күн бұрын
I wasn't able to get the low speed control I was looking for, so I replaced the motor and esc. Lookout for the new setup in an upcoming video!

Hey what is the motor in it?

Nice run! Question, how is the injora shock holding? Does it leak easily with the way you bashing ?
@kingmal5284Ай бұрын
I haven't noticed any leaks, but I would suggest using different shocks. These will work, but mounting the shocks and finding the right springs will be a problem.
@hianboy6608Ай бұрын
@@kingmal5284 thanks for the reply, would like to understand more about the mounting and spring choices that you mentioned?

How was the tolerance of metal parts? Could you please comment on that?
@kingmal5284Ай бұрын
Tolerance is okay. The only place that seems a bit loose is where the drive shaft meets the diff (maybe 1-2mm of play)

Nice upgrades, always interesting to look at such videos. What motor do you have in there ?
@kingmal5284Ай бұрын
I'm not sure I can recommend this motor. I'm having troubles with low end torque. It's VERY powerful, but I'm trying to tune it to a crawler application. If I can't get it to work how I want, I'll be replacing it.
@evoemperor3776Ай бұрын
@@kingmal5284 brushless motors got less torque than a brushed motor a better setup would be 370 and a better esc.
@daijoubu4529Ай бұрын
Im using a 2000kv D2225 outrunner, I have made an adapter on thingiverse or you can modify the gearbox, good torque but slower than stock unless you go 3S, also need a 3.17mm pinion

I get the same rubbing of the front front tires .. am still thinking whether to get portal axles or just put some spacers to lift the truck. Changing the motor for a stronger one is definitely on my list too. Nice video
@kingmal52842 ай бұрын
Try trimming those over fenders. It solved the problem for me. I tried lifting the truck as well, but I didn't like the stance, and it made the truck easier to roll over. Maybe spacers can work though! Curious to see what motor you end up going with!
@rcworldKenya2 ай бұрын
@@kingmal5284 Good to know, I will think about trying out some spacers instead. I got a 370 motor and waiting for the shipment, I hope it gives the truck more torque. Its really struggles on inclines though I am also curious to see what you end up installing in your truck. I was not sure if anything bigger than 370 could fit in well. But perhaps there is something out there. Cheers !
