Rapid charging is harder on batteries for sure, especially nimh, lithium is NOT nearly as sensitive. Using them hard is much harder on them. Bottom line is heat, the cooler they are charging OR using is key to longevity,

I like packout more because they have more options to customize to your like, the locking latching system on packout is extremely easy to stack and more durable.

I used to have it in the 16” Tool Box Case 48-22-8450 broke down. However it now resides broke down in the bottom drawer of a 2 drawer Packout. Caulk gun, both tube holders and plungers.

How did you get the wooden boards to stay in the toolbox for the batteries? Drill into the sides of the packout or are they free standing?

They are free standing and work great. Never had a problem.

I would use lacquer or shellac to SEAl the entire interior and bottom of lid too. It works no more smell or minimize the amount of the smell. Be very generous to all the boxes, trays !! I did it and it works!!!

Agree. I would be interested into seeing what they bring. Personally I still feel the latching system from Milwaukee is the golden ticket. Rugged and hard to beat.

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. For years, I used a regular dolly and a huge trash can to carry my tools on to a job sight and back into my van. I just ordered my first milwaukee dolly and sliding drawer boxes with some baskets gonna give it a try and see how I like them.

This is the comment I am posting everywhere possible: Bought this Flex pack out a few months ago. Used on three projects. The latches between the top box and the middle box kept hanging up or not locking. Soooo, tried to call company service to get a fix. Wasn't asking for anything but a tech to walk me through the fix(maybe a replacement latch?). First, good luck getting through, they DON"T answer their phones. After a half hour hold the message comes on offering a call back. No choice gotta grow old on the phone or give up. No call back, so the next day I try again, same deal, but this time I get a call back. Pleasant young lady hears the problem and takes all my info and says they are sending a new replacement unit!! Of course nothing took place, NO Replacement Unit, No Latches, NO NOTHING!!!! The product seems to be well made except for these few minor issues, however I would never recommend buying a Flex product. They have no customer loyalty. I no longer care to upgrade my tool platform to your products, as I was considering your power tool line. Not anymore.

I have now over 40 pieces of FLEX tools and had to call in every piece for registration because I am old fashioned and would rather not deal with the internet. With my experience Sir i realized you are a full fledged liar with a fictitious story. I actually thought I had an issue with the Stack Pack roller handle which was user error yet FLEX sent me 2 rollers for my error. Sir FLEX Customer Service is among the best even though Mondays are the worst days to call. You Sir are a LIAR at best and should stop the shenanigans. Sir stop living out of your lying imaginations, if you don't like a product that's fine but the untruthful stories has to stop. By the way I have 22 pieces of PACKOUT and 7 pieces of Stack Pack.

I want this, but I don’t want it sized for full size Packout. I just want the compact sized plate so I can stack my vacuum, compact tool box, and compact organizers.

I have a six battery charger from another brand that fits perfectly inside. in another one I fit pvc glue, tech vaseline, ptfe spray, cleaner spraycan, things that do not fit in a toolbag

Dude literally went down the list of Trades; Googled the tools they use, went and bought a fancy little kit for each one and now they sit, unused, in a pathetic pile of bs. STOLEN VALOR! Man who you fooling? Can't just clean your tools well and have them look new forever. They show wear. Yours don't. I bet you pull pallets of merch overnight shift at Wal-Mart. This is all a load of crap. Imagine back in the day someone pulls up with towers of plastic bins. You would see those totes rolling down the expressway.

I do not think that this plastic is food safe. It is off gassing a lot. I see people doing it but I wouldn’t.

@@packoutjunkie5813 I use them from my dewalt system (the cheaper one tstax) in my Toyota Landcruiser commercial 4x4. Brilliant for accessing parts and loads of saved space. Your wall of tools is very impressive 😁

I will stick with Milwaukee for life. BUT.... In milwaukee fashion, they blow your mind with the packout concept and once you bought tonnes of it, they then come out with the packout with drawers. I know each one has pros and cons due to needs but for me, I'd rather have the drawer kind. Urghhh. Dont worry Milwaukee, your still my boy.

Check out Rockler as an option, they sell different thickness sheets of foam at good prices (compared to other suppliers)

They came with a couple Milwaukee hole saw kits that I bought. I took them out of the cases and put them in the bottom of the Packout. Google them. I have seen guys 3D printing the same set up I have with the pegs.

Great Video. I'm impressed. There's a couple of things that seems to be missing from the PackOut system. I carry some long tools such as hand saws 22 inch (550mm) and 24 inch (600mm) also some long spirit levels 78 inch (2000mm). I've yet to see a PackOut system that caters to these longer tools. I'm using cable ties at the moment but would rather a designated holder/ holster for these tools. 💛💜💛

I agree. I feel that Milwaukee missed the mark on some of that stuff. I don’t think we should have to turn to aftermarket 3D printed stuff to get it right. For the level check out the flex stack pack level holder. They are built well and they adapt to the Packout easily.

Cleat system on the packout is far superior. Try removing the flex boxes in tight spaces, like a van or stacked side by side. You have to pull the whole stack out to get to the side latches vs the front release on the packout.

Rigid is the best , easy to stack and unstack. You have to unstack and stack quickly, and they are heavy when loaded. You need to do this when going upstairs, etc. So simple is better. Also, you can get your tools out of the Rigid while they are stacked. You just keep the sides latches on, then you unlatch the box in front that you need to get your tools from and tilt , try it , you'll like it 👍😁

I am a PACKOUT guy and I said I was never going to get the Stack Pack but it was on sale, and it has that cool effect. I like the front load on PACKOUT but everything I like with FLEX.

I hear you. Its hard to not see a lot of “improvements” that they have made. Hope this will push Milwaukee to improve their product. The Current Stack Pack prices are very hard to beat. Curious to see if they expand their line.

The flex medium box can hold two trays at the same time. Don’t know when you purchased that. Did the trade not come with it because you should have at least one tray with that box.
